I have been on a 3 year journey to achieve a natural and attractive look with a prior set of implants and crowns on my front teeth. After two previous sets, I was concerned the dentists would consider me a difficult to satisfy patient. However, Dr. Sheen listened and allowed me to provide pictures of what I was trying to accomplish and he achieved a perfect finished product. My teeth look like they are natural and fit my face perfectly. I couldn't be happier and I highly recommend Dr. Sheen for all your dentistry needs, especially cosmetic.

Before I give my review on the experience at this dentist practice I first want to acknowledge how wonderful the staff was to my mother. She had nothing but great things to say about them. Especially the dental hygienist that has been working with her since she's been going there. She was so patient with my mother and made sure she took her time with her and did a wonderful job. Now as for Dr. Sheen. I am sure after seeing all the other reviews on here that he is a pleasant man like they say and have done wonders as a dentist. However, this was not the case for my mother. My mother had complained about how she was being treated for months and wasn't sure if it was due to a language barrier or if this was how he treated all of his patients. I went with her to one of her appointments and was highly appalled at how she was treated. First, my mother was not in the exam room because she was in the restroom (after being told that it was okay to do so). He went in the room and saw that she wasn't there and proceeded to have an attitude with his hands up and asked the dental hygienists that were standing in the hallway with me where she was. Immediately this was off putting to me. No medical provider should behave this way, especially in front of non-staff. Now she was there for just a cleaning, however he literally looked in her mouth no longer then 5 mins and said everything looked fine. She proceeded to tell him her concerns about her pain in her front tooth and that she was still experiencing pain in her back tooth from the surgery she had 3 months prior. She explained again it was her front tooth that was touching and bothering her. He used a tool and instructed her to grind her teeth. After this, he proceeded to grind her back tooth. After he does this my mom explains that its her front tooth that are touching and her gums are hurting. He doesn't really listen to her and begins to say "I don't understand, I don't understand". My mother begins to explain again and this time he says "Now we are heading into something else and I just don't have time, we are surpassing 20 mins now and I am late for my next patient. Make another appointment so that we can discuss this." I can see on my moms face she was really upset and was frustrated with him. My father called the following day to discuss his displeasure with what I told him and not what my mother said. He let them know she will not be coming to this practice. As of today there has been no follow up call to apologize for any misunderstanding or misgivings that may have occurred. Which further tells us the he does not care about his patients. I would not recommend this dental practice.

I cannot give 10 stars, but I would if I could. With 30 years of dental issues behind me, I have never had a kinder, more compassionate or more gentle dental professional than Dr. Sheen. He is a wonderful Christian man. I no longer live in Augusta so it is now a 125 mile, two hour round trip to see him and it is worth every minute and mile. God bless him and his staff.
