Dr. Geena Patel completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, minor in psychology at Loyola University Chicago in 2003 and was awarded with highest honors of Suma Cum Laude and Biology honors.
Dr. Geena Patel graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago's College of Dentistry in 2010. Upon Graduation, she received the Dr. Gerson Gould and Mr. Sol H. Gould Memorial Scholarship for her clinical and academic excellence. Shortly after, she furthered her studies by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Wichita State University in 2011.
Since she has begun practicing she has been an active member of these Professional Affiliations: American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry.
She is active in continuing education and bilingual in spanish and english. She is a strong believer that practicing dentistry with strong communication and a positive environment will build and promote a nurturing, lasting, trusting relationship with her patients.

Friendly Front office and the Doctor patiently explained diagnosis and why certain procedure is needed which I don't see in many doctors nowadays.

It is rare to find a dentist that listens and cares about their patients, Dr Patel went above and beyond to make my dental appointment comfortable and painless. She is a very knowledgeable, and caring individual. She explained my treatment plan thoroughly and was able to conservatively treat my teeth and prevent me from needing multiple root canals due to her excellent clinical skills. I am forever grateful to Dr. Patel and her team. I will be referring all my family and friends to her.

Dr. Patel is very nice, eloquent and talkative, unfortunately her dental skills do not go hand in hand with her eloquence. The seal she placed in my molar fell out after less than 3 years. Gr. Patel was unable to correct her poorly done job. So I have an expensive root canal treatment that could have been avoided if the treatment had been done correctly the first time.

I am so thankful to have found Dr. Geena Patel for a dentist . She is the very first dentist that I truly trust. She explains everything she is going to do, and she is so gentle and always makes sure you are ok. She genuinely cares about each one of her patients. She takes her time and does an excellent job. The office makes you feel welcome every time you come and makes every one feel special. I am so grateful that she came to Gurnee.

Dr. Geena is probably the best dentist that I have ever been too! She always makes sure you understand everything completely before moving forward and is very thorough. Dr. Geena also makes sure you are comfortable during procedures. I had a couple cavities drilled and filled and through out the whole visit she made sure I was not feeling any pain. Her and her office staff are very personable, friendly and always make you feel welcomed! Dr. Geena and her team make going to the dentist a breeze and not a chore!

I love this dental office. The receptionist Lynn is just the best. Very sweet and makes you feel welcome. Dr Geena Patel is very good also, sweet and truly genuine. Very helpful, honest and caring. I highly recommend
