Since the age of 15, Linda knew she wanted to be a Dental Hygienist.Her dream was realized in 1978 when she attended OCCC. After that she worked in different dental settings before moving to the area and working for Dr. Berson. Throughout the years at Dr.Bersons practice she has had the pleasure to meet and care for many kind and wonderful people. Linda and her husband John have two adult children, Kendra and Ryan along with an assortment of four legged critters. She loves traveling, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and anything water related.
In 1999 Kris graduated from Hygiene School and was a former clinical instructor at SUNY Orange. She has been working at Dr. Bersons office for over 15 years. Kris enjoys baking, gardening, camping and spending time with her son, husband, dog and chickens.
Kathy graduated SUNY Orange Dental Hygiene in 1998. She started working for Dr. Berson April of 1999. She should have known she would wind up working in the dental field, because as a young girl she would take her toothbrush to kindergarten with her. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, triplet boys (almost always involving baseball) and German Shepherd.
Karen has been working at Dr. Bersons office for over 15 years, but has been assisting for the past 25. She is both certified and licensed in dental assisting and is the head assistant in the office. She enjoys doing most anything but especially gardening and working around the house. When shes not at the office Karen loves to spend time with her three beautiful daughters whom she is proud to say she raised alone, and her grandson, Maverick.
Halemah is a 26 year old mother of two beautiful little girls, Khyliee and Sumaiya. She adores her family and home life so much, and considers it a true blessing to be able to experience the same joy when she comes into work. She has been working at Dr. Bersons office for a little over a year and working in the healthcare field for 8 years. As you may have already guessed this is one of her passions as well as traveling, doing CrossFit and of course making memories with her daughters, friends & coworkers-turned-family.
Arlene Dalpiaz has been a part of Dr. Bersons dental team for 22 years. She enjoys working here because each day is a little different and she has the opportunity to not only meet people but help them as well. Arlene has two wonderful daughters and two amazing grandchildren. Her favorite place in the world is the beach.
Lori Rivas has been working with Dr. Berson for over 6 years. Working in Dr. Bersons office has been like working with family. She has been married to her wonderful husband Adam for 22 years and has two awesome sons, Dylan and Cody. She loves spending quality time with her family hiking, biking, snowshoeing and off-road jeeping.
Dr. Berson prides himself on being able to offer his patients the latest techniques with the most advanced technologies. His office utilizes digital x-rays and 3-D Conebeam radiographs as well as dental lasers.
Dr. Aronson could not be more excited to be joining her father, Dr. Gary Berson at his practice in Monticello. As a graduate of Monticello High School, she is looking forward to coming home to continue to provide quality dental care for the community.
Dr. Aronson obtained her undergraduate degree from Boston College. She completed a Post-Baccalaureate at NYU and City College prior to attending and graduating from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, in Newark, NJ. While a student at Rutgers she co-founded a Rutgers chapter of the AADMD (American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry), working with the Special Needs Community and educating current and future practitioners.
He then received his doctorate in dental medicine from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. After graduation Dr. Schwartz completed his General Practice Residency at Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair New Jersey where he refined his techniques of providing high quality care to patients of all ages.

This dental practice is truly amazing they're caring and professional. Pamela , Halennah , Lori and Arlene are gems. Dr Aronson & Dr Schwartz are EXCELLENT and would highly recommend them to anyone

Not your run of the mill dentists. I have Dr.Schwartz. He is highly skilled & easy to talk to. The rest of the staff are equally highly skilled at their own practices. Everyone is good humored and welcoming. Very glad I found them.

This office is filled with wonderful and caring providers. The dentists and dental hygienists are very thorough and I always leaving with a winning smile. Specifically, I have worked with Dr. Berson, Dr. Schwartz, Jamie, Jackie and Linda and they are all amazing! The front desk team, Arlene and Laurie, always make you feel welcome and have lots of patience and knowledge. As long as I live in Monticello, I will not go to any other dental practice!

I have been enjoying the services of Dr. Gary Berson since the mid-1980's. He has always been professional, gentle and effective. Gary has also become a friend over the years. I look forward to continued work with his daughter who has since joined his practice. Best DDS in Sullivan County... maybe the world!!!

I have been coming to this office for over 15 years. Dr. Berson and his staff are AMAZING human beings. Their compassion for their patients is something I've never seen anywhere else. I am friends with almost everyone in the office because they make you feel like family. I was a fearful patient and now feel completely at ease going to the dentist. Dr. Aronson is a perfect addition to the team, she is funny and extremely knowledgeable in her field. If I haven't convinced you by now, I don't know what else to say. I'll never go anywhere else.

I've had the best dentist experience today. I suffer from a phobia and I never wanted to make dentist appointments until now. I got a root canal done and I didn't feel any pain at all. Doctor Schwartz is awesome. He's very professional and empathetic. He and his assistant Halemah made me feel very confident and calm. She held my hand when I was getting nervous. The ladies in the front desk are very nice and friendly. Such a great experience.

I have somewhat of a phobia when it comes to having my teeth worked on. So much so that I tend to put off going to the dentist for sometimes years at a time. When a pain in my tooth got so bad that I had no choice, I searched on google and came across dr bersons office. I was seen by dr. Schwartz and his hygienist/assistant. They made me feel extremely at ease during my procedure and I felt no pain whatsoever. 2 days after the visit, the pain in my tooth that I had felt for so long was gone. They don't drown you in paperwork even though it's your first visit, and they front end is very helpful and friendly. I almost never write reviews for places but decided to due to how positive it was.

I was referred to Dr Gary Berson by a good friend for an emergency visit. Recently arrived to the area, I had the misfortune to break a tooth. Staff was amazing and Dr Berson alleviated my pain and worries within minutes with great bedside manners and the best 80's music. Who knew a visit, an emergency visit nonetheless could be so pleasantly memorable. I have had returned visits and each was just as pleasant as the last so this was who they were. Maya Angelou was so right, when people show you who they are, believe them the first time. Highly recommend this office.

This is the first time I've been to a Dentist in many years. Dealing with major anxiety issues can be difficult but Dr. Schwartz and the staff really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, explained everything to me in ways that I could understand , were safe using all covid protocol and professional. The staff at the front desk were kind, friendly and helpful. I called for an emergency situation and they didn't waste time getting me an appointment. Thank you to everyone for not only helping me out so quickly but for being so kind and making it a good experience for me.

I Grew up with Dr. Berson as my dentist. He's a legend and the best you can get. He is as professional and caring as they come. In the last year I have been seen by Dr. Aronson. Dr. Aronson is also the best of the best. She is very caring, genuine, honest, and very professional. She keeps the mood light, as well as do the best job possible. She makes sure you are comfortable, and is very honest with what needs to be done. Her work is impeccable. Her staff is also great- welcoming, caring, and makes sure you are comfortable at all times. Highly recommend for any work that needs to be done.
