Dr. Myles F. Heffernan Jr. grew up in Marlborough, Massachusetts and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross. His Dental Degree was earned from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry . Dr. Heffernan moved to Lancaster and joined the practice of Dr. Peter Garofoli in 1988. In his 24 years of practicing , Dr. Heffernan has enjoyed every aspect of dentistry. He is a member of the Wachusett District Dental Society, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Heffernan has participated in coaching youth sports and enjoys doing volunteer work in both dental and non-dental organizations. His interests include skiing and sports of all kinds. One of Dr. Heffernan's favorite pasttimes is cooking out by the pool with his wife Patrice , and their three children.
Dr. Lindsay A. Bruneau grew up in Colchester, Connecticut. Dr. Bruneau received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Connecticut. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she was awarded the Outstanding Achievement and Excellence in Patient and Practice Management Award. She then went on to practice in the Dental Health Center at Boston University for a residency program and earned a Certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry. At the Dental Health Center, she was awarded the Excellence Award for character and clinical proficiency.
She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society.She is a member of the Wachusett District Dental Societywhere she is serving as vice chair and a member of the Dental Education Committee.
Dr. Peter Garofoli is a lifelong area native , growing up in Clinton and residing in Lancaster with his wife Peg and four children for over forty years. Dr. Garofoli received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Tufts University. He graduated Cum Laude from Georgetown University School of Dentistry, where he was named to the National Dental Honor Society. After serving as a Captain in the United States Air Force Dental Corps, he returned to Lancaster where he has practiced General Family Dentistry ever since.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society and the Wachusett District Dental Society. Being an advocate of community involvement , Dr. Garofoli started and directed the Lancaster Youth Soccer Association, serving as President for six years and coaching youth teams for over ten years. He was a founding member of the Nashoba Regional Scholarship Foundation, served as President of the Nashoba Boosters Club and has been a Corporator of the Clinton Savings Bank for nearly twenty years. In his leisure time, Dr. Garofoli enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, fishing, boating, gardening and sports of all kinds. He believes that being a Red Sox fan 'prepares you for life !'

Dr. Brueau & her staff is just woderful. They got me in when I needed it to prep for an extraction at a specialist. They have & continue to helped me through some tough procedures. I highy recommend Dr. Bruneau for anyone looking for a good dentist.

I just experienced the reason why Dr. Garofoli's office receives such impressive reviews. As a fellow healthcare provider, I am always curious to see how other offices are run. Dr. Garofoli and his staff receive an emphatic 5 stars from me. From my initial phone call to checking in, the front desk staff was exceptional. I would actually like to poach them for my office. I was brought in prior to my appt time and from start to finish it was a pleasant, smooth experience. I think you'll be happy too if you make the switch to this office.

Most people are not fans of going to the dentist but when you do it is nice to have such friendly and capable personal that you find at Dr. Garofoli, Dr. Heffernan and Bruneau.

This is the best family dentistry office in the area. I have been a patient since 1st grade- 45+ years. My husband and two teens boys are now patients too. Dr. Garofoli (retired) and Dr. Heffernan (and hygienist Kate) have decades of experience as well as being generous, committed, fellow residents of our hometown. I'm always impressed with how they continue to invest in the latest tools and technology in dentistry. Today, Dr. H. implanted a permanent porcelain crown with a perfect fit and minimal discomfort (even after a scheduling snafu). Insurance coverage estimate and payment was easy too. IMO it would be hard find a more personal yet professional dentistry experience.
