Dr. Daniels has been in practice in Tolland for more than 37 years. A 1976 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry he also received his B.A. in Anthroplogy from the University of Michigan. He has completed numerous continuing education courses and is member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Tolland County Dental Society (serving as president), and the Academy of General Dentistry. In additon to his dental practice experience Dr. Daniels has been an active member of the Tolland community. A long standing member of the Tolland Lions Club, having served on the Tolland Historic Distric Commission , served as a leader in scouting, coached numerous youth sports, and served as a member of the Tolland Town Council including two terms as chairman. He has been a resident of Tolland for over 30 years with his wife Vicki.
Dr. Cattanach joined the practice in August 2014. She received her B.S. degree from Trinity College and a D.M.D. degree from the University of Connecticut. She also completed a residency program in general dentistry at UConn. Prior to joining this office, she had worked in a private practice in Alabama. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Society, and the Tolland County Dental Association. She has completed numerous continuing education credits in a variety of disciplines. Dr Cattanach lives with her husband and three children.
Laurie started working with Dr. Daniels in 2006. She has been in the dental profession since 1984. She loves interacting with patients and works to ensure that all our patients have a positive experience. Laurie's many years of experience enables her to keep up to date with current trends in insurance and advocate for patient benefits. When not in the office, Laurie enjoys her equestrian sports; teaching horseback riding lessons, and playing polo. She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and three Jack Russell Terriers, hiking, swimming, boating or fun on Cape Cod.
Melissa graduated from Windham Techinal School for dental assisting in 2005. She has worked in dental offices both as a dental assistant and a receptionist coming to us with a thorough knowledge of the front desk. She puts all her skills to work for us working as a receptionist and a dental assistant. In her spare time she enjoys discovering the beauty of Connecticut on horseback with her family.
Kim has worked in dental offices since she was in high school. Working in the lab, assisting and at the front desk. She then attended Forsyth School for Dental Hygientists and Northeastern University. Working in a few offices after graduation before settling in as the full time hygienist with Dr. Daniels since 1993. She enjoys forming relationships with her patients and helping them achieve their optimum dental health. When not at work Kim enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, traveling, and exploring the outdoors with her husband.
Beth has been practicing dentistry since 1996 after graduating from Tunxis Community College as a certified dental assistant and a registered dental hygienist. Working with Dr. Daniels since 1999 she enjoys a wide range of patients and has a strong emphasis on periodontal oral health as well as oral cancer screening and patient education. Outside of work Beth volunteers at her sons school, enjoys the beach and spending time with family and friends.
Meagan graduated from Tunxis Community College and started working with Dr. Daniels in August 2014. While attending college she was working as a dental assistant. She has a strong desire for community service and helping the underprivileged. She has taken part in various dental mission trips to Haiti, Mexico, and the Navajo Indian Reservation in Utah as well as the Connecticut Mission of Mercy. She enjoys treating, educating and interacting with patients of all ages and believes good oral health is a very important part of ones overall health. When not at work, Meagan enjoys horseback riding, snowboarding, waterskiing and volleyball.
Jean attended Windham Technical School and graduated from the Certified Dental Assisting program. She started working with Dr. Daniels as his full time assistant in 2000. She is married with two children and a step-daughter. When she is not at the office she enjoys horseback riding and tending to her small farm. She is married with two children and a step-daughter.
Patty is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University. She has been working with Dr. Daniels since 1990. Over the years she has worked at the front desk, in the lab, and assisting the doctors. She has a warm smile, an infectious laugh and is always friendly and welcoming. When not at the office, she enjoys catching up on all the newest shows and movies, enjoying the warmer days on the bike path and spending time with her husband and two grown children.

Have been a patient of Dr Daniels since he started working here in Tolland. I was once very fearful of dentists. Not anymore. I feel very comfortable at Dr Daniels office. Recently had a prep for a crown. No jitters whatsoever, and no pain!!!

Dr.Daniels wasn't my dentist at the time I called , I told the staff that I had a toothache and they were able to see me the next day . Now that's service you can't beat. The staff is friendly and efficient.I'm happy to have Dr. Daniels as my new dentist.

Never had I had so much attention paid to my whole mouth health. Performed mouth cancer checks and measured gum gaps (didn't know this was a thing). A lot of time with doctor, not just the hygienist. Explained everything they were doing and why.

Friendly and helpful staff. Taken on-time. Every precaution taken to make you feel comfortable during the pandemic. Had two caps replaced and it all went very smoothly, no swelling or pain afterwards. I would highly recommend Dr. Daniels and his wonderful staff to anyone.

My original post here was very positive after the initial visit. I am replacing it for the following reasons. My first follow up was for a root canal. That was a total disaster! Dr. Daniels removed only 2 of the 3 or more nerves leaving me in severe pain on a tooth that did not hurt at all before the procedure. I called to complain and they just offered a prescription of Amoxycillin. It took 10 days to get an appointment with another specialist that told me you cannot do a partial root canal. This is the result. Why someone that has been in the business for many years did this is difficult to understand. Dr. Daniels used my insurance allowance for the root canal. I had to pay out of pocket for the consultation and will again have to pay out of pocket for the repair of this botched procedure. Never again.

This was my second visit to Dr. Daniels' office. Very satisfied!! Everyone was friendly, professional and office very clean. Both appointments were during the Covid19 pandemic and they were very strict in adhering to proper procedures to insure the safety of patients and their staff. I definitely would recommend them!!!
