Dr. Fred Stillings believes strongly in education to prevent oral health problems before they occur, and makes sure to keep patients fully informed about their dental health. I grew up in Boise. After high school I attended the University of Utah on an academic scholarship. Graduating Magna Cum Laude (top 2.5 percent) in 1988. I was accepted to the dental school at Oregon Health Science University. Graduated with my doctorate four years later. After 8 years away at school I knew Idaho, and specifically the Treasure Valley, was where I wanted to practice and raise a family. Started my solo practice in 1992 and havent looked back since! One of the absolute best aspects of dentistry for me has been forming long time patient relationships. I consider my patients friends/family and treat them accordingly. We are now doing dentistry on children of folks I treated when they were little!

Incredibly and uniquely knowledgeable and generous in helping me when there was nothing in it for him. Although I've come to the understanding that my situation requires a prosthodontist, per Fred and others, I'd highly recommend speaking to Fred for any dental concerns to see how he can assist. He conveyed various details about my situation that no other cosmetic dentist/surgeon had pointed out. It was hugely helpful.

I've gone to Dr. Stillings since I was a kid. I've actually always liked going to my dentist and it feels like family. When I was deployed they would inquire about me to my family and even got together and sent me a care package. Great great people that all know you by name and face. Always available in an emergency. Go above and beyond for care and service. Small family feeling seems to be a dying breed but these folks are just that. Can't say enough about every single person in this office.

Glad to have found this dental office. Locally owned and managed by a caring and professional staff. Hygienist took her time, did a great job cleaning my teeth and was very communicative during the whole process. Dentist took his time to review my teeth and x-rays and advised accordingly (he delivered less then desirable news with a smile and humor). It seems rare these days to get this level of service and care. If your looking for a dentist and team that will take good care of you and your teeth then I'd strongly recommend you give Dr. Stallings office a try.

The staff is super friendly and treat their patients really well!! Dr. Stillings does amazing work! I went in for a filling and my cavity was rather large but you can't even tell I had work done. It looks like my normal tooth. =] I give a double thumbs up if your in search for a great dentist!
