Dr. Bonacci started his career practicing as a general dentist and after just 3 years practicing general dentistry, he made the decision to become a specialist and has been specializing in Periodontal Medicine and Dental Implants since 2003.
Throughout his career, Dr. Bonacci has worked on thousands of complex cases that provide him a great advantage as he treats his patients today. He is committed to continual education, as he expresses the value of possessing as much knowledge as possible in order to provide patients the care they deserve and need. In support of his efforts towards continual learning, Dr. Bonacci works closely with other local and international dental practitioners to ensure he is always equipped with the latest information regarding procedures, technology, medicine, etc..
Interesting Fact: As a young man bound for college, Dr. Bonacci began his college career with the intent of becoming a general surgeon. But thru college medical internship experiences and exposure to medical dentistry his career path became clear.
Mary Ann has over 14 years experience working in the dental industry. Mary Anns favorite part about working with Dr. Bonacci is being able to see so many happy patients everyday. She said, I am so proud to work here. He is always so professional and extremely caring.
Kim has over 27 years experience in the dental field. She has been working with Dr. Bonacci for the past 7 of those years. Kim says she enjoys working with the team because everyone is dedicated to their work. Kim said, We all put our patients first in the level of care thats given on a daily basis.

I needed 2 implants for the longest time, but I was very anxious about getting them done, since I imagined it would be quite painful. After having the implants both done now, I am mad at myself for waiting so long to do it. Dr. Bonacci is amazing, a top-of-the line, totally professional doctor. He explains everything in great detail and made the process so easy and so painless. It really was remarkable. Both implants are working great. I can eat anything on them. I would recommend him to anyone. His staff is great too. They were all wonderful to me.

It seems that the clinic is very supicious or not trusting its patient. I arranged for a friend to drive and pick me up and the secretary insinuated that I am lying and wants to see the driver. I was insulted. So, I was forced to call my ride back to prove that I did have a ride. What did it accomplish?

I wished I could give Dr. Bonacci and his staff more than a five star rating!!! He and Kim have the greatest bed side manner and make you feel like you've known them your whole life. I am so glad that I was referred to him 11 years ago. He has referred my family and I to the best dentist to go to as well as orthodontist!!!! If it wasn't for him I am sure I would've already gave up on my teeth and just went ahead and gotten dentures. Thank you Dr. Bonacci, Kim, and your staff for the patience that you have shown when it comes to my periodontal disease!!!!!!!

I can't rate the experience I had with Dr. Bonacci and his staff highly enough. Everyone was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, kind and perhaps most importantly to me, calming. Very attentive, very gentle and I had an extremely effective, successful gum graft procedure that was virtually painless. I can't recommend Dr. Bonacci enough!

Dr. Bonacci is the best. I was so fearful when I arrived because I hadn't been to a dentist in a number of years and was concerned about my implants as well as some bone loss. He immediately put me at ease and explained everything in layman's terms. I have seen many dentists/periodontists in my long lifetime and no one compares. His assistant, Misty, who I met w/first, put my mind at ease and was very friendly and down to earth. I highly recommend Dr. Bonacci and his staff.

Dr. Bonacci and his team are excellent with both Periodontal Care and the Dental Implant process. Dr and his staff, especially Kim and Mary Ann, make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive at the office. They are all willing to answer your questions and take as much time as needed to be sure you understand each process thoroughly. I am blessed to have found such a caring and professional practice and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have had medical and dental treatment in the United States, Japan, and South Korea, I can state unequivocally that Dr. Bonacci sets the standard for the practice of periodontal medicine. He patiently explained everything that he was going to do, and then followed through in a most professional manner. The cost was also reasonable. My good experience was enhanced by the quality of his staff, which is second to none. Maryann and Jennifer, in particular, are friendly, respectful, and considerate. Dr. Bonacci's assistants, Kristin and Kim, are delightful. I have complete confidence in Dr. Bonacci's judgement and ability, and you can, too. He is the epitome of what a good doctor should be.

Dr. Bonacci is the best !! He is very caring with a heart of gold . He takes his time to talk with you and You do not get the feeling of just being another number or rushed so he could get to the next patient . His work is perfection !!! His office staff are all so pleasant and caring as well.. I recommend this place 100 percent .. You get a beautiful view of the river also :) :)

If you are researching periodontists in the area, look no further. Dr. Bonacci will exceed your expectations and you will receive the highest quality medical/dental care NEPA has to offer. By the time I arrived at Dr. Bonacci's I had been to several local dental professionals that were struggling to devise a treatment plan for me. This left me feeling anxious, overwhelmed and burdened with chronic pain. Within one appointment, Dr. Bonacci was able to evaluate my situation and proposed a confident treatment plan. It was such a relief to feel that I was working with someone who had a solution. He saw me through the stages of my treatment and was engaged and caring at each appointment. My end result is great! You won't find a better all around medical professional in our area. I am grateful for his knowledge, expertise and professionalism. You will be, too!

Dr Bonacci, his assistant Kristen and front office staff were all amazing! I can't say enough about how accommodating and understanding they were when I called and came in with great discomfort. The problem was resolved quickly and as painlessly as possible with an extraction. Dr Bonacci explained everything as he went through the process which also put me at ease. I highly recommend Dr Bonacci.
