Dr. Causey received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from MUSC and completed a General Practice Residency at Richland Memorial Hospital, but he is always learning more about the latest advances in his field. He frequently travels to respected institutes all over the country to study, continuing his education to better serve his patients.
Im a fairly conservative guy at heart, he says. I dont chase after every new trend or fad in dentistry. That said, I am fascinated by any new technique that can make my patients healthier and happier. I love to learn. And I love to make my patients smile.
Born and raised in Irmo, South Carolina, Dana is a 1987 graduate of Irmo High School. She attended the University of South Carolina and transferred to the Medical University of South Carolina earning a BS in Physical Therapy and a Masters of Health Science. Dana currently works PRN for Amedisys Hospice assisting patients and family members with end of life mobility. She joined our office full time in 2018 to assist with patient scheduling and treatment coordination. She is active in the local community as a member of the Chapin Junior Woman's Club, Columbia Woman's Club, American Cancer Society, and is the Teaching Director for the In-Prison branch of Community Bible Study.
Samm works closely with patients, explains their benefits to them, communicates any insurance concerns, and manages any insurance disputes. She demonstrates excellent customer service, and shares a professional relationship with insurance companies to ensure success in balancing patient needs with their insurance benefits. Samm is knowledgeable in the latest insurance filing software through numerous billing and coding certification courses. Her skills and attention to patients financial worries provides for a positive dental experience.
Harvin is orignally from Orangeburg, SC, but calls Chapin home. She graduated from Midlands Technical College in 2011 and has been practicing Dental Hygiene ever since, When she is not educating patients about their oral heath and providing meticulous care, you can find her on Lake Murray with a fishing pole in hand. Harvin enjoys spending time with her spouse, family and friends and occasionally brushing up on her 'green thumb' skills.
Darcie is originally from a small rural town in the Western part of NY State but has called Irmo home for over 25 years. She graduated from Midlands Technical College in 2007 and has enjoyed growing in the dental hygiene profession ever since. A majority of her career has been in pediatric dentistry which has allowed her to perfect the calming and gentle touch to help patients feel at ease during their care. In her spare time, Darcie enjoys singing, baking, and spending time with her husband and 2 children.
Originally from Wisconsin, Theresa has lived in the south since 1988. She lived in Charlotte, NC until moving to the shores of beautiful Lake Murray one year ago. Theresa has one son who is a Marine stationed out west. Her husband still works in Charlotte and commutes 2 days a week. Theresa has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1991. She loves her profession and enjoys the relationships with Dr. Causey's wonderful patients. Theresa has recently retired, but continues to fill in on a part-time basis.
Katie was born in Connecticut and moved to South Carolina in 2015. She attended Chapin High School and received her dental assistant degree from Carolina Career School. She has experience in pediatrics, orthodontics, and general dentistry. Katie's easy going personality helps put patients at ease during their treatment. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with friends on Lake Murray.
Erica is originally from Sumter, SC and a graduate of Wilson Hall Academy. She received a BS degree in public health from the University of South Carolina in 2016. Following graduation she and her husband moved to Washington, DC, where she worked in pediatrics for 3 years. When shes not at work, she and her husband enjoy traveling to new places and spending time with their goldendoodle.

Absolutely love them all!! Dentist and staff are all wonderful!! My 90 year old Father is in a wheelchair and hard of hearing.. they were all very accommodating and extremely considerate and kind. I Wish that I could give more than five stars!

Dental assistant was able to get the glue from braces off of most of my teeth! It's been there for 9 years I'm super impressed with her attention to detail! Also very nice people

Oh. My. Gosh. Doctor Causey is absolutely wonderful. I am a bit scared of the dentist, but he makes it easy to not be. He has a great personality and wants what's best for your teeth. Not to mention the staff in his office is equally as amazing. So thankful I decided to go to see him before I made a $10,000.00 mistake by another dentist.

Where do I begin? They had me at hello!!! I had to quickly find a new dentist, and they all met every need from start to finish! Mrs. Causey was such a delightful person on the phone and in person. Dr. Causey is one of the coolest, funniest and down to earth dentist that I've ever had. Very personable, which I love! They definitely make you feel welcomed and apart of the family. Dana was AMAZING to say the least! I have braces and she took her time and cleaned my teeth to PERFECTION!!! She is such a sweetheart! Everyone there really is! I'm so grateful that I found this dentistry. They worked me in at the last minute and I will forever be grateful for that. If I ever move out of state, I'm definitely traveling twice a year just to feel at home. I truly love my new dentist office! Thanks again!!! See you all in January!

Dr. Causey/Infinity Dental and the staff were absolutely fantastic. I had an exam and cleaning. They all go above and beyond. My husband was out of state and he called to say he thought he cracked a tooth. When I called the office they got him in right away. Price is a lot less than many others when I called around. I would totally recommend!

This is my first time visiting Dr.Causey's office and I was very impressed by everyone at the office. The lady who helped me I believe Nancy? was incredibly kind and reassuring. Dr.Causey is probably one of the best doctors I've ever talked to since I moved here, very patient and took his time to explain everything to me. I also want to thanked the two ladies at the front who helped me with my paperwork and scheduled my appointments for me. I feel very lucky to find Dr.Causey's office and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Dr Causey and his staff are always friendly and accommodating! They have fit me or members of our family into their schedule for urgent dental issues on multiple occasions. Dr Causey always make you feel comfortable and like you are an old friend.
