Our mission is to deliver quality dental care in a relaxed, caring environment. Our staff is dedicated to providing gentle and comprehensive dental care for each child. To be most effective, children's dentistry needs to be preventive in nature, since these procedures are less invasive and are accomplished more easily. We stress proper brushing, home care, and diet, along with involving parents in their diagnosis and treatment. We loved Dr Frank Pettinato!! It was my 5 year olds first dentist visit and he made it very easy for her. The whole staff was wonderful!

I absolutely love it here ! super kind and got to my daughter right away! i recommend 10/10. Made my daughter super comfortable (she's scared of the dentist) and we were in and out. LOVE THIS PLACE!

The dental care was OK, but I'd like to talk about the poor communication from this office. On the very same day as our child's appointment, we discovered that the Dale Mabry office had permanently closed. We received no specific notification that this closure had occurred, other than some verbiage at the end of a confirmation text which read "Tampa has moved". It would have been very easy to send a text blast to all their customers notifying us of the office closure in advance. Highly unprofessional!

They are great with children. But they are never on time. Add 30 minutes to an hour to your appointment time to be seen, even early morning appointments.

Had to cancel 2 appointments for my daughters with ample time. The appointments, one of which was cancelled because the dentist was caught in traffic because of an accident on the interstate, were never cancelled. I was told that we had to pay cancellation fees because they never removed the appointments. I was told to speak with Dr. Tierney Pettinato to see what can be done about the fees. After 2 weeks of calls and left messages I finally spoke with Tina who told me, "I should've received a letter last week and My children can no longer be seen at the office do to too many broken appointments. So I say fine I will swing by and pick up the records. After a drive to the office I'm told, "Our records are in the Westley Chapel Office. Its a shame that after several years of taking my daughters here. This is how it ends, without one conversation with the dentist. All this to say. If you cancel an appointment make sure you call at least 2 to make sure it was removed... Especially if you have multiple children being seen.

Made an appointment for my daughter to have her second cavity filled here. Got here this morning, tried to get an x ray done, she didn't cooperate (she's 4) and that was that. They admitted to being too busy to even try a second x ray for the procedure and sent us home. Terribly managed and didn't take into consideration that a 4 year old may not cooperate. They overbook themselves for their own benefit.

I have been coming here for nearly four years with my eight-year-old son, Logan, and it's been awesome. The waiting room is bright and cheerful with video games and toys, and the front desk is always friendly. The ladies who do the x-rays/cleanings have been amazing (shout out to Kiki!). Dr. P and Sharon tag team super effectively to keep his mind off of the tough stuff and even have a special nickname for him that makes him feel special. Their chairside manner is phenomenal. Even at (a very sensitive) three years old, Logan was charmed, encouraged AND incentivized not only into sitting still and allowing services, but being proud of himself after- and WANTING to come again! Dr. P also makes sure I'm informed and aware of treatment plans and options, and has made them manageable when the unexpected has come up. Just last visit, she fit in a double-emergency appointment because she knows I'm driving from St. Pete to continue coming here. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

1st time visit for my 5 year old child. Very caring office, understanding staff, not a long wait at all. Doctor was very understanding of my child's needs. Fast exam. I was allowed to be with my child during the entire office visit. I now have a new dentist for my growing child! Thanks you so much!

Our cleanings have always gone great. Today we had a tooth removed & it was all good, even though my daughter was nervous. She was happy afterwards & said "let's do it again!"

Friendly staff, that cares about you're child. They cater right to the kids, so the kids enjoy dentistry and want to take care of their teeth.
