I graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in the top quarter of my class. I also have a masters degree in chemistry from Marshall University, where I was the recipient of numerous distinguished honors and awards prior to starting my practice. These include: the New York Universitys Bernard E. Rusner Memorial Award for superior performance in providing oral comprehensive care and administering a dental practice. In addition, I have earned Certificates of Appreciation from the International Center for the Disabled and the Settlement Health and Medical Services for organizing and operating Dental-Oral Cancer Screenings at the centers health fairs.

Prior to starting my own practice in 1988, I was the chief resident at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Centers Department of Dentistry. While in residency, I visited churches, the Lemar School for the Blind and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center in the Bronx, New York, giving oral screenings and dental examinations.

I guess the best answer is simply because I like people and helping them. Plus, I always had an interest in what my dentist was doing to me as a child. I also love working with my hands and with gadgets. In dentistry, there is always new cutting- edge technology and equipment that is fast becoming commonplace in the profession. I love keeping up with the state of the art. This enables me to better serve you and your families. Its also a profession where you can produce quick results. It pleases me that I can contribute something that is very important to peoples health and way of living helping them keep their teeth for a lifetime. Furthermore, I have a deep affection for my patients. Its like having family around me all of the time.

In addition, we do our best to be a good community partner. Personally, I have served as a dental provider for the Gift of Life Program. This volunteer project allows me the pleasure of donating dental services for children from foreign countries, waiting for heart surgery at hospitals in the Tampa Bay area. In terms of business community support, I have served on the board of Mercantile Bank, and am currently vice president of the Network Professionals Inc.s Downtown St. Petersburg Chapter and active in the St. Petersburg Dental Disability Group. I also hold memberships in the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.

I am a St. Petersburg native. I graduated from St. Petersburg High School IB Program in 1992 and the University of Florida with a B.S. in psychology in 1996. I am the proud mom of a 15-year-old son currently attending St. Pete High. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my son-watching him surf at the beach, lots of time at the baseball field, cheering on the Gators and anything involving our beautiful coastline.

I am a native of St. Petersburg and started my dental career when I was just 15, working part-time as a dental assistant. After graduating from high school, I entered Dental Hygiene School at St. Petersburg College and graduated in 1978. I began my career working for the late Dr. John Stewart. In 1988, Dr. Ferullo bought the practice from Dr. Stewart. But for me nothing changed; I simply went to work for Dr. Ferullo and have been with him ever since. Many people who stay in the same position throughout much of their career do so because they love what they do. And Im not any different. Ive worked since 1988 for the same dental practice for many reasons. I have found it to be a wonderful experience to work with three generations of patients. Many of these patients are like family to me. Ive watched patients grow up and then have their own children. I also work with a great group of people in a beautiful office setting. My husband, Rich, and I have two children, Cassie and Colby, who keep us busy. But when I do find time for myself, I like to read, care for my African violets and shop.

Hello! My name is Susan Wright. I have been working in dentistry for most of my adult life. As a teenager, I was fascinated by the profession, always asking my dentist questions. The next thing I knew, at the age of 19, I was working for him as his Dental Assistant. I later got my Dental Hygiene education, by earning an A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville in 1980. I think anyone who has a job as a Dental Hygienist has to be a people person and that pretty much describes me. Ive been working for Dr. Ferullo since 2006, and enjoy being in an office that stays current with the latest things in dentistry, strives to deliver quality dentistry in the most efficient and painless manor, and I love building relationships with so many wonderful patients. Hello, my name is Jessica Massaro, I started my dental assisting career back in 2005. I have worked in a couple practices which I enjoyed prior to joining Dr. Ferullos team.
