'I just had the LANAP treatment and it was the finest dental treatment ever. Several years ago, I had two and a half cut down or Periodontal Flap/surgeries and the difference is like night and day. The LANAP procedure was far more efficient, more humane and not as invasive in comparison to the cut down. I remember my mouth being packed with that thick pink-stuff soft coating, but my gums bled for quite a bit. I would recommend that you see Dr. Ahmed for this new treatment if you are experiencing your teeth moving, having gum issues or losing bone. This new treatment may work for you. The best part of all is that her rates are reasonable.'

Im currently in the process of a dental implant with them also. So far so good. The things that my insurance wont cover. Go there let her give you a check up. Dr. Faten Ahmed is an excellent dentist. She performed the lanap procedure on my gums. I had a speedy recovery and I'm forever grateful. Dr. Ahmed is very professional and passionate about her craft. I recommend her to anyone who wants good, professional cleaning and care.

Up until early 2022, I had been going to Dr. Faten Ahmed for about six years (not counting 2 years of COVID) and she is a fantastic dentist. She is kind, personable, gentle, and patient. I've had several cavities filled, a bridge replacement, and bi-annual cleanings. With my cavity and bridge replacement, she made every adjustment I asked for to make sure my bite was perfect. Each time my dental insurance covered the full cost of the procedures. During my last visit I was told that I needed to have a cavity replaced but the cost was $600 per tooth for some "superior material." I got a second opinion and found out that there is no such material and my dental insurance covers any material available. Additionally, I was due for a bridge replacement which I requested to have a claim put in to my dental insurance. I was told that they would follow-up in a couple weeks which never happened. When i finally followed up, I was told that i would have to pay about $2000 out-of-pocket because my insurance would not cover it, again, because of the material they would be using. Obviously, i found this strange since my insurance had not changed and i did have any out-of-pocket costs in the past for the same material. I decided to do my own research and contact my dental insurance. My insurance carrier confirmed that all of my procedures were approved for the full-coverage and that the dental office should not be charging anything additional as they are required to provide the service as per the in-network contract with the Dental office. When i tried to dispute these out-of-pocket costs with the office manager, he avoided my calls, refused to get on a conference call with my insurance provider, and - i suspect - directed the office staff to defer my calls or continuously say that he was not available. Ultimately, after many unsuccessful attempts to rectify the situation - I really tried because Dr. Ahmed is an excellent dentist - I was refused service and basically told to "find another dentist because they would no longer accept me as a patient regardless of what the insurance company said." If you are using dental insurance and are being charged extra, do yourself a favor and confirm with your insurance carrier before paying any out-of-pocket costs. And avoid the "office manager" like the plague. He will try to get you into his little office, close the door, and spring fraudulent charges on you. I can't imagine that the Dr. Ahmed is not aware of this especially since there are other reviews on here claiming the same. If you are paying out-of-pocket, you are probably being overcharged. Beware!

The services that I received from Dr. Faten Ahmed is excellent! She and the support staff are friendly, helpful and professional. They always take time to explain my condition and treatment options. Recently I had LANAP laser surgery and they provided thorough examinations, cleanings and post-care. I also appreciate that I never have to wait more than a few minutes when I arrive for an appointment. I am completely satisfied with my care, and highly recommend BW Dental.

I've been avoiding the dentist for some time now knowing that I needed periodontal gum surgery. I was recommended to go to DW Dental and have a consultation with Dr. Ahmed. After a consultation With Dr. Ahmed I choose to do the LANAP laser surgery. I have to tell you, this was the best decision I've made. Dr. Ahmed did the laser surgery one week ago over a two day period. The results were amazing. One week later my mouth feels great. My gums are pink and healthy looking, even Dr. Ahmed was impressed with my healing process. It was basically painless and by each evening after the procedure I felt fine, I even went to the gym. Dr. Ahmed is truly a skilled and gifted professional in the field of LANAP laser surgery. If you need periodontal gum surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Ahmed & her BW Dental team to perform LANAP surgery. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Ahmed is the best dentist I've had. She's very welcoming and will even have music playing in the background if you're getting a procedure done. She recently encouraged me to do the LANAP laser gum procedure and it was the best decision! The procedure and recovery were relatively painless. As a longtime Customer of BW Dental, I was impressed with my recent visits to get the new Lazer Gum Treatment/Cleaning done. Dr. Faten did a fantastic job in explaining the procedure. On my follow-up visits after the laser treatment, she went the extra mile and corrected my bite by leveling some of my teeth. Both she and her employees were courteous, thoughtful, and sensitive to my concerns from start to finish. I won't change BW Dental for another, even though I have to travel from the Bronx. I highly recommend Dr. Ahmed.

I cannot put into words how much I love Dr. Ahmed and her practice! For 40 years I have dreaded going to the dentist, but ever since I found Dr. Ahmed I no longer do. Her staff is courteous and friendly and very helpful in explaining what is needed, and Dr. Ahmed's chair-side manner is literal perfection -- she is an even better human than she is a dentist, and she's an exceptional dentist.

I have had my fair share of different Dentist in my life. But by far the most attentive and making sure that you are feeling well. I have never met a dentist like Dr. Faten Ahmed. I was referred to Dr. Ahmed and I can say is that I am impressed with her dentistry and staff. Very professional and pleasant. All I can say is that I look forward to seeing my dentist. Very few can say that.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ahmed for many years. Never have I had a problem that she couldn't correct. I'm proud of the work she has done in my mouth. As no one know I wear dentures. A big shout out to her staff, they great.
