Dr. Fairfax earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University in 1999. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, graduating Magna Cum Laude from VCUs Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 2005 and was inducted as a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental honor society. She went on to complete a one-year residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry also at MCV. Dr. Fairfax enjoys all fields of dentistry. She has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education focusing on conservative, comprehensive dentistry.
Dr. Fairfax considers it an honor and a privilege to serve the community members of Fairfax Virginia. She is committed to serving not only her patients, but others as well through participation in community outreach programs, volunteer and sponsorship opportunities, vocational training programs, and contributions to local charities and nonprofits intended to aid individuals and/or organizations helping those in need.
Dr. Fairfax is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Society. Dr. Fairfax also recently received an Alumni Association Award from VCU as an Outstanding Graduate of the Last Decade. In her spare time, Dr. Fairfax loves to read, run trails with her energetic Vizslas, practice Bikram yoga, travel, and spend time with her wonderful family.
Originally from Washington state, Erin received her associates in dental hygiene from Lake Washington Technical College in 2006. She is certified to administer anesthesia and nitrous oxide. Erin loves her profession and the positive influence she has on people and their oral health each day, teaching about dental hygiene and ways to create and maintain healthy, beautiful smiles.
When not working, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, Mycah, Noah, and Miah. She also enjoys photography, scrapbooking, DIY projects around the house, and traveling to see her family whenever possible.
Kevin came to our office in 2010 as an intern assistant while completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. Upon graduating, he returned to the practice the following year as the office manager. He is focused on providing the best quality coordination of care and solutions to patients with their billing and insurance needs.
The youngest of four children, Kevin was born and raised in Northern Virginia and is surrounded by a large extended family. He is a big sports fan (Go Eagles!), but also enjoys playing basketball, softball and golf in his spare time. Waiting at home for him every night is his (super cute) rottweiler puppy, Nike.

I had the best dental work today by Dr. Fairfax. Unfortunately I don't have the best teeth so I've had several fillings. Usually my gums are sore from where the numbing shots go in and the whole thing makes me anxious. Dr. Fairfax was so gentle with the shots that I didn't even feel them and I haven't been sore at all today after the procedure. She is kind and not judgmental and my mouth feels great! I have never reviewed a dentist before but all of my appointments have been great and I hope this helps a fellow nervous dentist-goer!

Dr. Fairfax is an awesome dentist. She is skilled, communicates well and has a great staff. She provides my regular dental care and today squeezed me in for an emergency cracked tooth.

Always a thorough and professional visit. The staff is always polite and willing to answer any questions. I there is an issue the explanation of next steps and options are always provided. A great team....Most of all Dr. Fairfax is the greatest.

Dr. Fairfax and entire office staff were very conscientious about protecting me against the virus. They have established a protocol that begins at the entrance with hand sanitizing, temp taking, questioning about possible contact with Covid patients, all wore masks and cleaned office surfaces. I felt very safe.
