Dr. Bonilla is one of the best dentist that I have ever been too. He was not only kind, compassionate, and incredibly intelligent; but, he also provided truly outstanding dental care. What I enjoyed most was his warmth and the feeling that he genuinely loved being a dentist and he was providing dental care from that genuineness. I highly recommend him!! I have definitely found my perfect dentist.

Beware of this fraud of a dentist! I went in to get a normal teeth cleaning and knew they had to do a preliminary examination (as is the norm when starting with a new dentist) first before they schedule a cleaning. First off I had to pay $15 just for them to do the preliminary examination which I thought was a little weird as I have insurance and showed them the card when I first got there. They didn't call anybody to verify the insurance and said it was $15 no matter what. I didn't think much of it and paid it. Dr. Bonilla and the receptionist were nice enough, and he told me I would need to get a bone graft on one tooth after they clean my teeth at a future appointment. He said multiple times that insurance wouldn't pay for the bone graft and kept saying "Who's going to pay for it?" He then said to come back for a teeth cleaning and then after that he will refer me to a specialist for the bone graft. This is where the issue began. When I called to set up the teeth cleaning appointment he told me it would be a $195 copay. His office is within my network and I confirmed with my insurance that I didn't need to pay any copay. Even so, I am dually covered for dental insurance, so I told him I had another insurance card that could cover the $195. He refused to take my other insurance. He wouldn't even look at the other dental insurance card and said he would only be working with my current insurance that I had given him at my first appointment and it would be $195 for the cleaning. Absolutely ridiculous that a dentist won't take multiple insurance cards. I ended up going to another dentist in my network and they took my insurance card (the same card I started with at Dr. Bonilla's office) and did their preliminary examination AND the cleaning in the same day. I did not have to pay ANY copay at all (as my dental insurance company confirmed previously), and I didn't even need to use my other insurance card. Also, I asked the new dentist if a bone graft was needed and he said there was absolutely no need for such a procedure based on the millimeters that my gums had receded on that one tooth (3 millimeters was the measurement which is okay-you only need a tissue graft [not bone graft] if you are at 5 millimeters or more and that's only if it is hurting you). Overall BEWARE if you go to Dr. Bonilla as he will try to charge you for copays that are not in line with your insurance, he won't take more than one insurance card, and he will try and refer you to specialists for procedures that you don't really need.

EXCELLENT DENTIST. Dr. Bonilla is very knowledgeable and professional. He provided me with outstanding implant service on my lower posterior teeth. He is the best dentist in Toluca Lake. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Thank you so much for doing such a great job. For putting a bridge in a crown it's been there for such a long time and I haven't had any problems with it. I would recommend this dentist to anybody the office is clean and very professional and an experience no pain while Dr Bonlla was doing my treatment. AAA Definitely will recommend to anybody

Dr Bonilla is an excellent dentist. I have been coming to this office for more then 3 years already. Very friendly staff. They make you feel welcome every time. I highly recommend Dr Bonilla to anyone who needs dental work.

Great dentist! Very knowledgeable and caring. Fixed my tooth the day it broke because I was flying out the following day. Also works with my work schedule. Highly recommend.

Dr. Bonilla is the best dentist in Toluca Lake. Nice Staff. He did outstanding veneers on my upper anterior teeth. Been going there for years. I highly recommend him.

Do not go to this dental office! The dentist is a crook. All I wanted was a consultation. Before my appointment, I asked, "Are you sure you do dental implants?" They lied and said yes. I basically ended up paying nearly $1,500 after being railroaded. Then, they tried to farm me out to another place for the implants. It's one of those places where you come out cash poor and wonder, "What the hell just happened? They also billed my insurance company. I called the office and voiced my concerns. Yet, now, a year later, I received a new invoice from my insurance company. What nerve.

It's taken me years to find a permanent dentist since mine retired. I've never been comfortable with most dentists since I feel that many of the services they recommend are financially motivated. But I trust Dr. Bonilla, I feel that he places the dental healthcare of his patients above all else. He also makes an effort to educate his patients on property dental hygiene and dispels common practices that don't yield positive results.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND MY DENTIST. When I went to Dr. Bonilla's office as emergency 6 months ago, I was treated very well. What a great dentist. He solved all my dental problems and I am very pleased with his professional services. I highly recommend Dr. Bonilla to anyone who is looking for honest, meticulous and well knowledgeable dentist.

I was working on the unit next door and Dr. Bonilla asked me what I was doing, I found out he owns the building. So after explaining my project for the tenant I was wondering the condition of my teeth so I asked if he could check. He was nice enough to take a look and recommend some changes. 2 weeks later I went back to get some dental work done and till now I am good. Thanks
