Dr. Howard opened his practice in 1986. He and his staff enjoy getting to know each and every patient on a personal level. It is our goal to provide you with the best quality care in a relaxed and family friendly environment.
We understand that going to the dentist isnt something that most people look forward to, and may even be stressful for some patients. Thats why we strive to provide a relaxed and friendly, low-stress environment to give you with the best dental health services in upstate South Carolina. We have some of the latest equipment that helps us to diagnose issues quickly and allows quick turn-around of many dental procedures.
Dr. Howard is a native of Greenville. He is a proud graduate of Wade Hampton High School and the University of Georgia. He then continued his education at the Medical University of South Carolina where he earned his D.M.D.
Dr. Howard is an active member of the Greenville Dental Society, Piedmont Dental Society and American Dental Association. He also volunteers his time at the Greenville Free Medical Clinic. For Dr. Howard, dentistry is more than just a job. He has a genuine interest in his patients and is compassionate and caring to their needs.
Stacey is a native of Pickens and lives in Greenville with her husband and two dogs. She is an avid Clemson fan and enjoys traveling to games, going to the beach, reading and spending time with her friends and family.
She is a graduate of Greenville Technical College and brings over twenty years of experience to our practice. Julie enjoys her job and takes pride in getting to know our patients. She is considerate of the needs of our patients and puts them at ease. She is a native of Greenville and still resides in Greenville.
No more messy impressions with gunk in your mouth. Digital images are taken to provide you with a crown that fits with exact precision. The CAD CAM machine will then mill the crown within minutes while you wait. A final inspection of the crown is made and you are on your way with your brand new crown.
The Panorex X-ray is a single two dimensional picture of all your teeth and surrounding bones. This x-ray will allow us to check your nasal and sinus cavities for any abnormalities such as tumors or cysts. It will also help us develop a treatment plan if you need fillings, extractions, braces or other dental work. We can also take Bitewing x-rays for the detection of cavities.

I cannot begin to explain the level of care that my family and I have received sense becoming patients at DR Howard's practice. These folks are the best. As far as I'm concerned they can close up shop and go into consulting a lot of business could use some direction from DR Howard and his staff. Then again just disregard my last statement. I would prefer that they stay in the dental business at least as long as I have teeth.

I have been a patient of Dr Howard's for over 30 years! That speaks for itself! Dr Howard and his staff have remained the same, regardless--very professional, skilled, friendly, knowledgeable; never too busy to find solutions to your inquiries, and always willing to seek the best resources for you that will save you money. They're always on time and complete your appointment on time. If they are delayed, it's usually due to an emergency, and they promptly notify you if that's the case. They perform quality work and provide exceptional dental services and customer service. Dr Howard always calls to check on you after hours if you have experienced a more difficult procedure and is always willing to do whatever he can to make you comfortable until he can see you in the office. He and his staff are truly like a family, and they treat their patients the same way. The current staff members have been there almost as long as I have been a patient--turnover is slim to none. They are very loyal and dedicated to their work and their patients. I plan to remain a customer as long as they're around.

Dr. Ernie Howard and his entire staff are a joy to work with. We've been going to him every six months for the entire fourteen-plus years we've been in Greenville and we wouldn't consider going anywhere else. He has always been available to us when we had a dental emergency and he, Stacy and Julie are exceptionally friendly and professional. We'd give six stars if that option was available.
