Dr. Grothouse graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1987. He was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental honor society, and he graduated sixth in his class. Dr. Grothouse earned his B.S. degree in 1983 from the University of Notre Dame where he graduated with honors. He is a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, a pre-medical honor society. Dr. Grothouse is presently a member of the Indianapolis District Dental Society, the Indiana Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Grothouse is a proud grandfather to three amazing grandchildren. He enjoys traveling throughout the United States with his children and his grandchildren. Dr. Grothouse is often times seen outdoors. If not golfing or swimming, he spends time gardening and attending Notre Dame football games. Often he is just playing outside with his grandchildren.
