Dr. Grothouse graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1987. He was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental honor society, and he graduated sixth in his class. Dr. Grothouse earned his B.S. degree in 1983 from the University of Notre Dame where he graduated with honors. He is a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, a pre-medical honor society. Dr. Grothouse is presently a member of the Indianapolis District Dental Society, the Indiana Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Grothouse is a proud grandfather to three amazing grandchildren. He enjoys traveling throughout the United States with his children and his grandchildren. Dr. Grothouse is often times seen outdoors. If not golfing or swimming, he spends time gardening and attending Notre Dame football games. Often he is just playing outside with his grandchildren.

I've been seeing Dr. Grothouse for about 30 years. I have a fear of dentists and he always makes me feel comfortable in the chair. He and his staff are wonderful to deal with.

I cant explain how much I love Dr Grothuse ,Dawn and Staff. I hated going to the denistist due to a really bad gag reflex and have been asked by several doctors not to come back, but he was so kind and understanding. He even took care of my snaggle front teeth due to a car accident 25 years ago that I was very embrassed about. I will continue to be a pacient of there's for years to come!!

I have been going to Dr. Grothouse's office for over 20 years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly, from the administrative personnel, to the hygenist, up to the good dentist himself. The staff is extremely well versed in their procedures and they always do a top notch job.
