Dr. Eric Rabovsky spent his childhood growing up around all the exciting things Olney has to offer. He later graduated from Sherwood High School in 1994 before being accepted to the University of Maryland at College Park, so its obvious to see why hes a big fan of all things having to do with the Old Line State.

While studying in college, Dr. Rabovsky considered pursuing a career in mechanical engineering but realized there was something more satisfying about doing something that requires artistic skill and working with your hands. Thankfully, dentistry was a natural fit.

After graduation in 1998, it was time to dive headfirst into the exciting world of dentistry. Dr. Rabovsky began working as a full-time dental assistant so he could learn one-on-one about how to care for smiles from some extremely gifted dental health professionals. He knew right away that dentistry was his calling, and Dr. Rabovsky went on to attend the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery (focusing on dental implants) until his 2003 graduation.

What happened next would shape who Dr. Rabovsky became a dentist. He worked in several dental offices after school, where he was able to gain invaluable experience and insight that helped him form an identity and a philosophy as a dentist who favors minimally-invasive treatments. He realized he had the unique ability to look at a problem and visualize the right solution. Over time, Dr. Rabovsky grew frustrated by how aggressive conventional dentistry could be. He also developed a deep passion about the art and science of reconstructing oral tissues along with a passionate hatred of oral bacteria. These tendencies paved the way for the development of different techniques designed to help save smiles, time, and money a wonderful advantage for our family of patients.

He first opened Crownsville Dental alongside his wife Jodi in 2007, and the pair took the next seven years to painstakingly craft the well-known identity for compassionate, quality dentistry thats synonymous with our office. In 2014, the office was equipped with extremely cutting-edge and highly effective CEREC 3-D technology for more precise control over all dental procedures and cases we complete.

Dr. Rabovsky and Jodi are still going strong today, continuing to grow and enhance the smiles and lives of our patients including injectables and dermal fillers. Hes also certified in laser dentistry, Invisalign, and oral sedation techniques. Because of their completely unique mix of services and advanced equipment such as the Galileos 3D to allow for an unprecedented view of our patients mouths, the pair eventually changed the name of their practice to Crownsville Dental & Wellness Solutions. Both Dr. Rabovsky and Jodi attend many continuing education classes every year and love learning about new technologies and techniques they can use to better serve you and continue to be one of the best dental offices in the industry.

When not concentrating on dentistry, Dr. Rabovsky enjoys spending time with his family and friends, developing many hobbies over the years, including boating and hotrods. Living nearby in Edgewater, Dr. Rabovsky and family make sure to take advantage of all of the wonderful activities Anne Arundel County has to offer. They enjoy seeing new places, boating, and spending time with friends.

Giving patients the best dental experience possible is a commitment Jodi shares with her husband, Dr. Eric Rabovsky. Since the couple first opened the doors to their state-of-the-art Crownsville dental office on April 15, 2007, theyve made it their mission to create a friendly, comfortable setting where dentistry is never nerve-wracking or tedious its always gentle and minimally invasive. Jodi has education and training from both the University of Maryland College Park and Anne Arundel Community College. Jodi knows a thing or two about making sure everything around the office is up and running smoothly, with over two decades of experience working in dentistry. Jodi says the best part of her job is getting to know our family of patients and catching up with them when they come to the office. She loves making someone uncomfortable feel comfortable. Patients and coworkers love Jodi because shes always fun, caring, helpful, and understanding. When shes not busy overseeing the office, Jodi and Dr. Rabovsky are usually traveling somewhere exciting, hanging out with their children, or boating.

Gail attended Anne Arundel Community College, earning her certification as an expanded function chairside assistant. Shes also certified in radiology. Gail has been a part of our Crownsville Dental & Wellness Solutions family since 2016, taking precise digital x-rays, collecting patient data, and working alongside Dr. Rabovsky to provide advanced, comfortable dental care. Gail says she loves being a dental assistant because it allows her the opportunity to always be learning about new techniques or technology. She loves working alongside her fellow team members in a high-tech office thats friendly and family-oriented. Gail is always kind, approachable, happy, and caring. When shes helping patients and their smiles, you can usually find Gail crabbing, volunteering with the local 4-H, and spending quality time with her close friends and family.

Rachel is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, and shes been working in dentistry since 2018. One of the biggest reasons why Rachel chose to pursue a dentistry career as a registered dental hygienist is because she loves meeting new people and building one-on-one relationships with her patients. Rachel says her work is always rewarding because it helps prevent disease and keep people healthy while also showing them how important and easy it is to go to the dentist. She enjoys being part of our dental family because of the high-tech, conservative dentistry everyone strives to provide in a fun, welcoming environment. When you work with Rachel, youll find that shes curious, active, thoughtful, happy, and a genuine thrill seeker. Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys being involved with the Bay Area Community Church, especially mission trips where she most recently traveled to India. She also loves seeing new places, anything related to the outdoors, running, spending time with family, and playing with her crazy dog.

Kiahlas interest in dentistry began at an early age. While still in high school, she was able to shadow her local dentist and learn some of the ins and outs of dentistry. She then completed her education at Dental Assistant Training School and started her dental career. Here at Crownsville Dental & Wellness Solutions, Kiahla is a Dental Assistant and works chairside alongside Dr. Rabovsky. She says what makes this office unique is its dedication to remaining up-to-date with technology and offering unique and special dental treatments that other offices dont. If Kiahla wasnt working in dentistry, she would still want to be involved in the healthcare industry. When shes not in the office, you can more than likely find Kiahla out on the water with her husband or planning her next family road trip.

Jennifer is a graduate of Baltimore City Community College and has been working in dentistry since graduating high school in 2000. As a dental hygienist, she helps out at the office by working together with the dentist to meet all of the oral health needs of every patient. She loves working with people and helping build healthy smiles. Since she was a child, Jennifer says she has had an interest in dentistry that started with her Berenstain Bears book. Jennifer is determined, adventurous, creative, considerate, and courageous. When shes not working, Jennifer enjoys hiking, bird watching, and making crafts. Shes also a huge Disney fan and a Betty Boop collector.
