Dr. Eric Paster grew up in Bensalem, Pennsylvania and never strayed too far from home during his extensive education. After graduating from ThePennsylvania State University with a degree in Pre-Medicine, he spent 4 years at Temple University School of Dentistry where he earneda degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine.

In 2012, he purchased Dr. Bruce Burns dental practice and home and continues to provide the same quality dental care Dr. Burns had provided for nearly 40 years. He is an active member of the Royersford Business Association and community.

Dr. Eric always strives to keep current with technology and new techniques by attending over 150 hours a year of continuing education in the field of dentistry and associated services; the state requirement is only 30 hours every other year. In 2017, the Academy of General Dentistry (www.AGD.org) honored Dr. Paster with their prestigious Fellowship Degree. Approximately only 7% of practicing dentists have achieved Fellowship. He has lectured and presented at the AAO (American Association of Orthodontists) in Washington, DC as well as various other associations and study clubs. He was selected by Philadelphia Magazine as a Top Dentist for the past 5 years, an honor that can only be achieved through a yearly vote by fellow dentists and specialists.

Dr. Eric has also trained at 2 world-renowned advanced post-graduate facilities: The Pankey Institute (www.pankey.org) and The Spear Institute (www.speareducation.com). Dr. Paster stays current on trends and techniques by affiliating himself with several study clubs throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Florida, and Arizona. Currently, he facilitates a Spear Study Club that meets in Wayne, PA. He is a member of a dental implant study club that meets bi-annually in Baltimore, MD, and is also a member of a Pankey Learning Group that meets biannually in Chester County, PA. He is also a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Dental Association (ADA), Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA), and the Montgomery Bucks Dental Society.

Over the last decade, Dr. Paster has received extensive training in airway prosthodontics, giving him the ability to make anti-snoring dental devices and/or devices worn at night to treat sleep apnea and other forms of sleep disordered breathing for those patients who cannot tolerate their CPAP machine. Most recently, Dr. Paster has supplemented his airway studies by training in Myofunctional Therapy which is the study of the function of the tongue, swallowing, and speech. The principles of myofunctional therapy are now an important part of his practice by improving breathing, the health of the TMJs and the stability of the bite.

Dr. Eric and his team aspire to give each patient the comprehensive experience. He has lectured throughout the country to general dentists and specialist on creating a positive environment for both patients and team members.

Dr. Paster always likes to point out that while he loves to practice dentistry, he is a HORRIBLE dental patient. Having a fear of the dental chair himself helps him be extremely empathetic to his patients needs; he is ideal in treating patients who are nervous and anxious in the dental chair. Dr. Eric has years of experience working with children, and is committed to making his patients visits as pleasant as possible.

Dr. Paster currently resides in Royersford with his family and his mini-poodle, Utley. During his free time, Dr. Eric spends time as a board member of Rachels Helping Hands Cancer Foundation. The foundationassists families with the burden of medical and prescription copayments relating to the treatment of all types ofcancer. Find out more atRachels Helping Hands Cancer Foundation.

In acquiring Dr. Burns practice in 2012, Dr. Paster has fulfilled his lifetime career goal of living and practicing in the same community. Dr. Paster hopes to establish long term relationships with families and offers quality services in a beautiful, relaxing and home-like atmosphere. We welcome you to stop and see our office, equipped with the latest technology to make your visit with us absolutely comforting.

Michelle received her Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University in 1989 and her Dental Hygiene Associate of Science Degree from Montgomery County Community College in 1999 (Summa cum Laude). Her strong desire to work directly with patients and use her significant health education experience led her to the dental hygiene field. Michelle had been proudly working with Dr. Paster since he purchased the practice in 2012. Michelle also holds a license in local anesthesia and is a licensed Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner. Her happy place is at the beach and spending time traveling with her husband, Pete. Michelle is a VERY proud Penn State alumni and a big fan of PSU football.

Devon-Lin joined the practice in 2004 after graduating Summa cum Laude from Montgomery Community Colleges Dental Hygiene Program. She is a member of the dental honor society, Sigma Phi Alpha, and the Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene Association. Devon-Lin is also licensed as a Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner. She enjoys spending time with her dogs and gardening.

Vicki is the newest member of our practice having joined us in July 2014. After attending the EFDA certification program she became a licensed EFDA (expanded functions dental assistant). This licensure signifies the extra training she received to create highly aesthetic provisional restorations and allows her to perform additional reversible dental procedures. Vicki joined our practice in 2014 and takes great pride in placing beautiful restorations. Vicki also has a passion for softball and was a former All-American first-baseman at Gloucester Country College. Her and her husband, Josh, have 2 energetic labs named Blue and Nittany.

Nichole joined the practice in 2013 after moving to the area from New Jersey. She has grown to enjoy both patient care and laboratory work. She has extensive experience in almost every facet of dentistry having worked for 20 years in the field and is also CPR and x-ray certified. Her experience gives her the ability to not only manage the daily operations of the office, but also to help out in almost any position needed when someone is out sick or on vacation. Nichole has a beautiful teenage daughter whom she loves to spend time with. Her passion is caring for her farm and rescuing animals.

Katie began her career in dentistry in 2010 and joined The Royersford Dentist in 2021. Shewas educated at Berks Career & Technology Center, and Harcum College where she was trained as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. This license allows her to place and contour composite and other restorative materials, place sealants, polish teeth, and perform additional dental procedures.

I am grateful to have the opportunity to interact with our patients, while providing education on dental care and good oral hygiene. Additionally, I love to allow my artistic abilities to shine in the restorations I place.

Kayla is originally from Hattiesburg, MS. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2010, and her Bachelor of Science in Fisheries & Wildlife Science from Oregon State University in 2015. She has over 10 years of experience in customer service, which made her a perfect team member for our treatment coordinator position. Several years ago, Kayla had the opportunity to get into the dental field and has found it to be very rewarding. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her husband and two dogs, as well as oil painting.

You're in great hands here. Friendly staff Always explaining what they are doing so you know the process and how to take proper care of your teeth. The building is kept very Clean and organized. If you have to have more than a cleaning and you're in your own room, they have you pick the music so make sure you come with your favorite band in mind! You even get a cookie when you leave

My phobia of going to the dentist is gone because of Dr. Paster & his team. I haven't gone to the dentist for over 10 years because I had an overwhelming fear due to 1 bad experience. Early this summer, I decided to overcome my fear and did a search for "best dentist near me". Dr. Paster's name popped up and he and his staff are truly the best! I met with Dr. Paster and his hygienist, Michelle, at my first visit and I have to say that they made me feel secure. Michelle was very sweet, warm and nurturing. My first procedure was nerve-racking. That's because I googled the name of the procedure which I recommend that you do not do! Michelle took good care of me and I trusted her completely. My procedure went extremely well and in the end, I was like "that was easy-peasy...why the hell did I waste all those tears crying last night and freaking out for no reason!". I also had a few fillings replaced and those procedures were done by both Dr. Paster and Katie who also is very sweet and warm! Aside from taking their time to explain everything to me and always ensuring that I am comfortable, Dr. Paster and his staff genuinely care about your hygiene. I cannot thank Dr. Paster and his staff enough for making me safe and helping me overcome my phobia!

This was my first time in this office. The staff are sincere, and genuinely nice. I love my hygienist, Devon-lin, she is very knowledgeable, and very personable. It felt like I knew the entire staff for a long time. As for Dr. Paster, his bedside manners his is very welcoming, and inviting. I can sense that he genuinely cares about the health of his clients. Kayla, very warm, kind, and approachable. I am so sorry if I forgot everyone's name. But overall, each person made me feel so special. A shout out to the sweet lady that gave me a nice chocolate chip cookie for rhe road. What a dynamic team! Thank you, Marcia

I'm not the biggest fan of having dental work done, as I imagine many reading this might be as well. But, Dr. Paster and his team are marvelous! They take the time and care to explain what, why and how things need to be done and execute in an extremely professional manner that, dare I say, almost made the experience "enjoyable"!

Dr. Paster and his staff were dedicated to making my visits as pleasant and personalized as possible. They made sure I was well informed about various procedures that would address my issues (including prices) and supported me on my choices without "hard sell pressure." I kinow it's difficult to believe that a dentist visit can be pleasant (even while getting my cavities drilled and filled), but Dr. Paster and his team did it! Choice of tunes and a massage chair? Yes, thank you!
