After graduating from the University of Washington Dental School in 1985, I worked at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, where I was assigned to provide urgent dental procedures to accident victims in the emergency room. It was challenging and rewarding, and it helped prepare me for my future dental career.
Returning to Seattle, I became an associate with a dentist who practiced in the Virginia Mason Hospital. This was invaluable experience for me as I was able to treat both private patients and in-patients from the hospital who were medically compromised.
In 1988 I launched my own solo practice in the Cabrini Tower in downtown Seattle. I greatly enjoyed my dental practice there, but not my commute from Edmonds, Washington. In 1998, along with my wife, Teresa, and our five daughters, we moved to beautiful North Bend, Washington. I opened the doors to our dental practice here, and we have enjoyed every minute of it.

Dr. Opsvig is the absolute best dentist I've ever used. He is extremely skilled and does amazing work. I have continued to use this office eventhough I no longer live close because of the great work they provide.

Best Dentist I have ever been to. Crown fit perfectly the first time and color matched my other teeth perfectly. Office staff is wonderful and caring! Would give more stars if possible!!!

Went in there and dude said there was stuff wrong with my tooth that wasn't went to a different dentist and they said no such thing this guy will try scam you. Him and is staff are horrible. Dont go here!!! Rude rude rude!!!

My family of five has been going here for four years. Helped repair some poorly done work from previous dentists with care, professionalism, and honesty. No trying to sell unnecessary work. They've been helpful in scheduling work to fit our budget and take the best advantage of our insurance. Because this is a small practice, the care is very personal. Teresa, at the front desk, and Laura, the hygienist, are equally fabulous. They've seen my kids starting from the time they were 3, which is great and fairly unique, to all be seen in the same office.
