I am fluent in English, Polish and Russian. All of my staff is, too. We also have working proficiency in Slovak, Czech and Ukrainian. While a large percentage of my patients are not Polish, as a native of Poland, I maintain strong ties to the Polish community and Little Poland in New Britain.
I havebeen honored with awards from the Academy of Operative Dentistry foroutstanding achievement in operativedentistry, theAmerican Association ofEndodontists, for outstanding achievement in endodontic therapy,and the Academy ofDental Materials for excellence indental materialsscience. I was also awarded 'Best Dentist' in the CTNOW Best of Hartford Reader 's Poll in multiple years (I am currently the reigning Best Dentist); named a 'Top Dentist' by the IAD, where I am listed in THE LEADING PHYSICIANS OF THE WORLD (Dentist Section); and received the OpenSource 'Patient 's Choice Award,' among others.
After graduating, I continued to seek advanced training every year, especially in the fieldsof cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, implantology. I am accredited in 3 dental implant systems as well as 2 different invisible orthodontic treatments, and one very fast one-wire orthodontic system. In fact, I have 26 advanced certifications, overall.

I have been going to Dr. Basil for years, she has always done exceptional work. I saw another dentist because I had moved to new haven area and it was nothing but problems. The trip to Dr. Basil is well worth it and won't be going to another dentist again. You will leave here very happy with the quality of work and attention to detail that is standard with Dr. Basil. Another client referred to her as the Michael Angelo of dentists and that is 100% correct. The hygienist, dental assistant and receptionist are all amazing.

I was recommend to see Dr Basil by my family when I was looking to get my veneers done. One of my cousins had her veneers done at Dr Basil's office over 10 years ago and I liked the natural and long lasting result that my cousin got, so I scheduled a (free!) consultation with Dr Basil. My case wasn't easy, and before seeing Dr Basil, every dentist that I have consulted doing veneers with, wanted to replace my teeth with crowns instead. Dr Basil was the only one that took a challenge to work with me and listened to my needs. When I write this, it's been almost a year since Dr Basil placed a beautiful, natural looking veneers on my front teeth and I couldn't be happier with the result - they look and feel so natural that if I didn't know that these are veneers, I wouldn't be able to tell (and many people are surprised when they find out that I have veneers - not to mention that I get compliments on them all the time). After this experience, I decided to completely trust Dr Basil with my dental care and became her full time patient. What I like about Dr Basil the most is the fact that she is willing to preserve and treat your natural teeth till she thinks they can be saved from crowns or implants, which is very rare approach among doctors these days. I meet her for the first time for an emergency visit on her day off. She was welcoming, gentle and did an amazing job restoring a fractured front tooth. The office is beautiful ! It has up to date equipment, and is very neat and clean. I would highly recommend Dr. Basil to anyone looking for a dentist or just a change.

A couple of years ago, my wife and I used lower-cost dental services abroad. However, our teeth/fillings began having problems sometime after we had come back from the trip. This time we did not want to take chances and went straight to Dr. Basil. As expected, she had fixed our teeth and we haven't had any problems so far. Getting your teeth done at lower cost, either locally or overseas, may seem like a good idea to save a few of your hard-earned dollars. But having a local dental professional, who's dedicated, who knows what she's doing, who is clearly passionate about her work and her patients, and whom you can really trust, is simply PRICELESS.

What an amazing office, amazing employees, very comforting enviornment. Dr. Basil in my opinion is the most experienced and knowledgeable dentist I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I didn't have a cleaning done in 3 years and she still made the process so easy and painless for me. She actually wants to help me unlike other dentists where you are in and out with no interaction. She has my best interests at heart. Great work and a job well done. I will be a patient there for life!!!!!

I am a quality oriented person from nature looking always for the best service. This is what I found in Dr. Basil's office. Professional, knowledgeable, precise, careful and always concern for patient's welfare. She pays very close attention to details. Dr.Basil is like an artist if we are talking about teeth modeling.
