Dr. Johns graduated in 1986 from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania and majored in Mathematics. She graduated cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1990. She started her dental career working in a federally funded health center that provided dental care to the under served population in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Her family relocated to Indiana in 2000 as her husbands job brought them to the Hoosier state, and she worked as a dentist in a practice in Indianapolis for 11 years. In 2011 Dr. Johns decided to purchase the dental practice at this location venturing out as a small business owner. She resides in Carmel with her husband, and they have 4 adult children ranging in age from 18 to 27. In her spare time she enjoys reading, Peloton, traveling, and volunteering for her church and community. She is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association and the Indianapolis General Dentistry Study Group.

By far the best Dentist ever, I can't say enough good about her and her staff I highly recommend her. I literally just left the office and I was overly excited about the results done for me. Thank you for taking pride in your profession and with your patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Johns for over 10 years. She has the best chair-side manner and makes me feel comfortable in an environment that I dread. As a self-proclaimed "someone who hates the dentist", I look forward to seeing her, knowing I am always in good hands. She makes going to the dentist for me what used to be intolerable, now tolerable.

I have been to quite a few dentists and by far this has been the best, caring friendly professional people I have ever been too, Dr. John is awesome, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Dr. Johns and her staff are by far the most excellent dentistry office I've ever been to. Since the moment I walked in the door I felt right at home. Dr. Johns makes it a nice experience. Her calm, inviting presence is up there with the best I've received from a doctor of any sort. Her bedside manner is impeccable. Every single staff member (Especially Lori and Laurie) that I've interacted was so friendly and caring. They also made my insurance process go very smoothly, along with very reasonable fees. If you're looking for a dentist in the Indy area, you should definitely try Dr. Johns!!!
