At Dr. Egg Pediatric Dentistry, we believe that each child is an individual and that each family operates in its own unique manner. We believe that if oral health and overall health are to be maintained, it is essential to work with the family as a unit as well as the child as an individual. Our goal is to promote and help families achieve optimal oral health and overall health, while helping to shape children into happy adults with a lifelong commitment to dental health.
Hi! My full name is Allison Eggleston, DDS, MS, but you can call me Dr. Egg. I was born and raised in Wilmington, and LOVE my hometown. I earned my B.S. in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry at UNC-Wilmington, and continued to UNC-Chapel Hill for dental school. I discovered my passion for pediatric dentistry in the summer of 2007, and attended a 3-year pediatric dental specialty residency program, also at UNC-Chapel Hill.
I live in Wilmington with my wonderful husband, David (also born and raised in Wilmington), our beautiful twins Tripp & Mae and our Ragdoll cat, Alexander. I love singing, dancing, reading, and the beach - but most of all I love my family, my friends, and my patients!
My name is Kathy Ventrice. I have called this beautiful city my home for the last 34 years. During those 34 years I have been fortunate enough to have met a very amazing and talented woman I call my best friend, Allison, but you all know her as Dr. Egg! We went to elementary, middle and high school together, but then went our separate ways for college. Yes, we stayed best friends! I graduated from UNCC with a degree in Business Entrepreneurship and Economics.
I married my high school sweetheart, Anthony, and we have been blessed with 3 beautiful daughters: Ava, Sophia and Juliana! I love watching my girls grow, traveling and having a nice glass of wine with my husband on the porch!
Hello everyone! My name is Jaime Jacobs. I am not from one place in particular, as I grew up in a military family and we moved all around. However, I have called Hampstead home for 23 years now. I graduated from CFCC in 1996 and have been a dental assistant for 26 years.
Hey Y'all! My name is Andrea Costin. I was born and raised in Burgaw, NC and I currently live in Hampstead. I graduated from CFCC and have been a dental assistant since 2008, spending all but 2 years in pediatric dentistry. I joined the Dr. Egg team in 2020 and have loved every minute of being here.
Hey everyone...My name is Meg Knoerzer. I was born in upstate New York, but have lived in the small town of Burgaw since I was 3 and love everything about it! I'm happily married to my high school sweetheart and we were blessed with a beautiful daughter in 2016. We love going to the beach and spending time with our friends and family!
I played volleyball at Cape Fear Community College while obtaining my Associate in Arts degree. In 2015 I completed the Dental Assisting program, also at Cape Fear. After graduating from the Dental Assisting program, I worked in General dentistry until I was lucky enough to come work for Dr.Egg in 2018! I have loved every minute of working at a Pediatric Dental office, especially working for Dr.Egg! She is the most down to earth person who will care for your children like she does her own!
Hello everyone...My name is Melissa White Davis. I was born and raised in Wilmington, NC and currently reside in Hampstead. I am a graduate of JT. Hoggard High School & Cape Fear Community College Dental Assisting program (class of 1996). I have 21 years of Dental Assisting experience with 13 of those years in pediatrics. I joined Dr.Egg's team in 2015 and have enjoyed every minute here!

As a parent who is terrified of the dentist, I did not want to pass that to my child. With Dr. Egg, fear is not even an emotion on anyone's radar. The welcoming clean environment, the amazing staff, the undivided attention Dr. Egg is able to provide each and every client, and can't forget (my child's personal fave) the amazing display of prizes, I couldn't imagine being anywhere else! I fully trust Dr. Egg's expertise and the way her, Ms. Angela, and Meg provide such comfort for parents is beyond exceptional! I would give 10 stars, if possible!! Thank you Dr. Egg and staff!!!!

Extremely HORRIBLE. if your kid scared from dentist, DO NOT GO. I am paying 170 dollar and the hygienist was being mean and yelling to my daughter because of she is being scared from dentist. Right now, I understand why she scared. Instead of try to make her motivate, she being to my daughter. It is absolute terrible experience. I will look another dentists in the town and I will make sure nobody around me to take their children here anymore.

Dr. Egg and the entire team are absolutely amazing! Our son has autism/fragile x syndrome, and has severe anxiety about most things, but especially the dentist. Dr. Egg and her team get it, and we can't thank them enough for how they treat him and make his trip to the dentist the best it can be. I usually don't do reviews but I had to share. I highly recommend and I am so happy we found Dr. Egg!

Dr Egg Pediatric Dentistry has been a genuine find. We love the staff, and Dr Eggleston is truly top notch. We have taken our daughter there she she started with a dentist and have never doubted our decision. You will be so pleased with everything about this place.

Called today after seeing the commercials and reading the reviews but was told they aren't taking any new Medicaid patients. I make six figures but My child is special needs and on medicaid. There was no reason given as to why they wouldn't accept him. so feeling defeated and discriminated against.

This business is amazing. The friendliest of staffs, the waiting room is colorful, clean and child friendly. My 3 year old son loved his visit, the hygienist and dentist were both amazing with him and he can't wait to go back. They made the dentist appointment fun and I greatly appreciated it!!

We were very pleased with the care that my son Daniel received at Dr. Egg's office. He had an emergency during off hours and Dr. Egg responded quickly and provided excellent care for Daniel. The team members in the office are very professional and caring. You can tell that Dr. Egg cares about her patients and she is an excellent dentist.
