Exceptional practice. Every person in this office is outstanding. I recently had TWO crowns done at the same time, the crowns are flawless. No pain. Even the temporary crowns were flawless! I am so happy. I need extra care because of gum issues and a hip replacement, but Dr. Yao took the time to listen and she is taking great care of me, my regime is exactly the same as I had in Ohio, so I feel great. Relocating to this area was tough, I had a long-time dentist in Ohio. But, my first visit to Dr Yao's office, I knew I had found my people! After several visits, I am absolutely certain, these are my people!

After shopping around for a dentist for years I finally found an office that puts me at ease. I literally walk in and out with a smile on my face, even knowing I need a root canal. Dr. Yao comes off as very caring and interested in my general well being. Betsy at the front desk has been an angel with helping me with scheduling and billing. The one time I brought my daughter along with me for my appointment they made sure she was comfortable and put a movie on for her. I actually look forward to my appointments now Thank Dr Yao & Office Staff

Not only will you love Dr. Yao because of gentle expertize you will love her entire staff. The atmosphere is calming and soothing from the moment you walk in the door. Don't put off your dental work; she won't let you have pain.

I came here for sealants for cavities a little over a year and a half ago. I was told one of the teeth in question might need a root canal, which I was against because I would have rather had it extracted instead, so I let the doctor know. During the procedure for the sealants (while I was drugged up) Dr. Effie Yao decided to go ahead with the root canal anyway, but somehow failed to remove the entire infection. She let me know it was still infected and to just take antibiotics for it to go away. I was sent on my way with an up charge for the root canal and crown. Did not return because I felt violated. Recently I've been having issues with the tooth she did the root canal on and decided to go Primera Dental to get it checked on. Low and behold they took x-rays and confirmed there is a small infection in the root and am now being told they must drill through my crown to pull the infection out and I'll have to get a new crown (practically another root canal) I did get a second opinion from Dr. Lall of Lake Mary Dental which ended up being the same recommendation Primera Dental had given! What a sick joke, I regret coming and recommending anyone here. Please save your time and money and do go elsewhere. Very outdated tech.

Dr Yao is an excellent dentist. Even more so, she is a caring, empathetic and compassionate person. Her staff are equally as amazing. I highly recommend her practice!!!!

I reluctantly recently had to change dentists due to an insurance change. A friend referred me to Dr. Effie Yao. As a new patient, everyone at Dr. Yao's office has made this an easy transition and actually makes going to the dentist feel like a pleasant experience! So glad to be a patient of Dr. Yao and her staff.

It's refreshing to call a place and after a few rings get a person on the other line rather than an automatic recording, "press 2 if you are a current patient, you are third in line. Our call volumes are high." Type places.

Best dentist place ever. Betsy the receptionist is exceptional at her job and very sweet. Dr Yao is a very skilled dentist and all of the ladies at this office are very talented and good at their job. My teeth feel so much better

Very personable with a good sense of humor. Recommended her to my family who are happy with her quality of service. She's never pushy but does remind you of the preventative care that's needed.

Dr. Yao is kind, genuine, and professional. I love interacting with her staff, who are all kind and courteous. This office gives you high level care without the pushing of corporate dentistry. 100% recommend

I am a little sensitive when it comes to dentists, but Dr. Yao's ENTIRE STAFF made me feel welcome, at ease and not in a rush. They were very good at explaining everything to me so that I understood what was needed and what I could do for myself. I actually am looking forward to getting my oral issues under control. Thanks again Dr. Effie and staff!.
