Dr. Szczepanik grew up on Long island, NY. His undergraduate degree was attained at SUNY at Albany and went to Farleigh Dickinson Dental School. Upon graduation he accepted a general practiceresidence in Augusta, GA. He stayed with the Veteran's Administration for five years while also teaching at the Medical College of Georgia and the University of Mississippi Dental School. After leaving the VA, Dr. Szczepanik averages overs 120 hours of continuing education a year with the state's requirement being in the 15-20 hours range. He is currently a clinical instructor at the Kois Center which is a state-of-the-art dental training center providing a rich environment for advancing the training and use of advanced dentistry serving dentists from around the world. He is also a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
I was born and raised in Lima, Peru where i graduated with honors from Dental School as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. I've been caring for dental patients since i moved to the U.S in 2000 and started working as a dental assistant in Peterson, New Jersey. Finding a love for dentistry and a desire to further my career Ibecame certified as a Dental Hygienist. Having my DDS degree validated in the USA gave me the opportunity to study orthodontics and I have been an associate member of the International Association of Orthodontics since 2009. After moving toFlorida in 2005, I joined Dr. Szczepanik's team in 2006 and I am thrilled to be a part of a dynamic team whose focus is on the health of their patients.
My name is Elizabeth Montoya. I was born in Colombia South America, and later moved to Los Angeles, California in 1987. I was a graduate of the National Education Center with a certification of a registered Dental Assistant. I moved to Orlando, Florida in 1997. In 2003, I joined Dr. Edwin Szczepaniks team and very quickly realized that I was working for a dentist with a lot of knowledge in dentistry. Dr. Szczepanik is always attending courses to demonstate and provide the best dental care for our patients. I enjoy every aspect of dentsitry and love the fact that we can make multiple patients happy by transforming their smiles and increasing their self-esteem
Sebastian was bornin California, but raised in Florida for themajority of his life. He is currently enrolled in college achieving his bachelors degree in biology to later fulfill his lifetime goal of becoming a dentist. Sebastian has always inspired to be involved in the dental field from a young age and continues to strive towards pursuing his goal. Outside of the office Sebastian has a passion for cars and spending quality time with family.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with this dentist. He was extremely rude and no compassion to my situation. He did not explain anything and then says he's going to extract the tooth. I said I needed to think about it , he stormed off and he gave me my crown back. He said he wouldn't put it back on nor give me antibiotics for the infection. I went 2 weeks prior to get an evaluation, said I needed a deep cleaning and after the very expensive deep cleaning is when I got an infection in my gum. I had heard great things about this office but will never go back . Dental visits are already not a pleasant thing but to have a dentist that has no sensitivity , professionalism or bedside manners makes it a whole lot worse.

I thought I may have lost a crown while eating, on Friday I couldn't find the crown , but felt that my back molar was missing part of it. I call the office and received a prompt reply stating they will return call on Monday. I was not in any pain or discomfort , but was assessed early tues am- with a x ray to confirm that the affected tooth was perfectly fine . The service is always professional and prompt . And I may add that when I had crowns placed in the past , it was a comfortable experience . Thank you Dr Sczcepanik and all who work with him to render excellent service!

I hated to go to the dentist so much; but since I enter the office the atmosphere was different from any other dentist office. My deep cleaning today was the best, when I ask Paila if she was going to start the gym area she said no we're done. Paola has a hand of Angels I did not feel anything at all. Dr Edwin explain every detail of my dental treatment and made me feel secure. Vicki was awesome explain every detail why I needed braces.

Booked an appointment for 8/30 about a month before, I provided my insurance information etc at that time. I called 2 weeks before my appointment to make sure my insurance company is accepted and how much they would be covering. I was ensured I would get a call back the following week with that information. That week came and went. 8/29 the day before my appointment I decided to call again, I was told I would receive a call 8/30 at around 8am with the information. By 10:30 I figured that call wasn't going to happen either and so I initiated the call. During this call I was told I had a 50% co-insurance for the visit. This is contradictive to my EOB from my insurer and so asked to cancel my appointment. They then had the cheek to try and charge a late cancellation fee, when I had been asking for this information for 2 weeks. I am not upset that my insurance is not covering the procedure, rather the lack of communication and attempt to get me to pay a cancellation fee.

Dr. Szczepanik is a caring and careful dentist who is able to do complicated procedures without hurting the patient. He has been my dentist for over 30 years, and I plan to continue to be his patient. He has an excellent staff of assistants as well.
