He graduated from the University of Pennsylania Dental School in 1983. He teaches a dental implant course, where he educates colleagues on restoring implants. His other various lectures are popular among dentists throughout the area.
Dr. DOria graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2005. She then completed a one year general practice residency at Nassau University Medical Center. The next year she became chief attending of the dental department, then joined our practice as an associate. Her friendly disposition has made the pediatric portion of our practice flourish.
Lenore has been a dental assistant for over thirty years. She has a degree in dental assisting from Brooklyn Community College. Her ability to make each and every patient feel relaxed and at home is remarkable. She has been with the practice for over ten years.

Dr. Edward Portnoy and Dr. Grace D'oria does not participate in Health Management Organizations; however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. As a new client, I felt Dr. Portnoy and Dr. O'Connor were truly top notch - starting with an absolutely positive experience with Sophie at the front desk all the way through a very friendly cleaning and dental check-up. I find Doctors that have had a long established practice really value developing a relationship with their patients - which is exactly what Dr. Portnoy and Dr. O'Connor did with me. 5 star all the way!

I've been going to Dr Portnoy for the past seven years. I wish I had be going to him for longer. Routine check ups and cleanings are made easy and pleasurable (if one can use such a description for dental visits) by his well trained, personable staff. More extensive work is handled with expert professionalism and skill. I've never had to come back to have work redone. On two separate occasions he repaired a seriously damaged tooth, whereas I might have otherwise required an expensive crown or, worse, an implant. Although I live in Yonkers, he is well worth the drive across the bridge.

I had cracked a tooth and felt a big gaping hole on the left side of my mouth. I called Dr. Portnoy and he squeezed me into his schedule by staying late after his normal hours. He then proceeded to fix my broken tooth in a relaxed manner giving me total attention. I cannot praise him and his office staff enough for the friendly, caring and humane way they treated me. Amazing practice .. nicest and friendliest staff ever , you can trust them with your teeth ! They do a great job and wont keep anything from you .. they spot anything suspicious or oral problems you may be facing in minutes and help You find the solution ! Love them

I was referred here by my friends because my kids needed a pediatric dentist. We have been going there the past 3 years. This place is amazing-from the receptionist to the dental assistant to Dr Grace and Dr Portnoy, the owner. We never felt rushed and always treated with utmost respect. They make sure our kids are comfortable with being in a dentist's chair and work hard to provide a professional experience for us. 100% recommend!!

This office is amazing- from the staff who greet you and the dental staff. Everyone is so nice in this office- I have never been to a dentist's office that made me feel so comfortable. I am traveling over 45 min to get to this office and they are worth it! I recommend you try them.
