Dr. Perdue attended Vanderbilt University and graduated from the University of Alabama in 1988 with a bachelors degree in biology. He attended the University of Tennessee dental school, where he graduated in 1992. He completed a pediatric dental residency at the Medical College of Georgia in 1994. After working in a group practice for ten years, he opened his office in Bellevue, Tennessee, in 2004. His practice provides full service pediatric dentistry and orthodontics for all children, adolescents, and people with special needs.
Melody has been a part of our team since January 2010. She has 20 plus years of dental experience. Melody helps our patients and parents feel welcome in our office, informs them about procedure details, financial information and insurance. Melody is also our surgery scheduler for our Vanderbilt patients. She has 2 sons and 3 granddaughters and in her free time she enjoys watching both her sons auto race and her oldest granddaughter play softball. Melody also enjoys camping, boating and spending as much time with her family.
Leigha has been a part of our practice family since 2010. She graduated from high school in 1994 and received her education as a registered dental assistant with expanded functions. As both a dental assistant and our scheduling coordinator, Leigha feels that she offers a friendly, warm personality that helps makes both parents and children feel welcome during their visits. With her years of experience, Leigha can help educate parents and children about dental procedures and oral disease. Leigha loves working with such great co-workers and helping the children who come into our office. Leigha is married and has two girls. When she has free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Daysjah graduated from TCAT in 2019 with her Registered Dental Assistant license. She became a part of our team while doing her internship with our practice and has been an asset to our office ever since. She enjoys her career and strives to make sure both parents and patients are safe and comfortable during their visit. She is married and has a dog named Copper, and enjoys spending her free time with both.

My son is severely autistic and non verbal and was having a dental emergency. They got him in quickly and was so patient and understanding and we both could feel they actually cared. With a child with special needs the patients and care of the nurses and doctors are important to make the family feel welcome and comfortable and they did just that! It means so much to us to not feel like a burden and the child can tell a difference too! I am very happy with dr.Perdue and his staff 10 stars!!

My children like this dentist. They have been seeing him for about 12 years. He also did my daughter's braces back in 2020. The office no longer offers after school appointments. This is a pediatric dentist for goodness sake. It is very disappointing especially since my daughter still has braces and has to get them adjusted once a month. Missing school or even a portion of the school day once a month isn't an option. I have discussed this with them several times and they informed me they do NOT plan to change their hours back to pre-Covid hours not even one day a week or month. We have had a few issues over the years with the staff and care given but those have been resolved once attention was brought to the matter. We will finish her treatment here (because it had to be paid in full before the first orthodontics appointment) but will find a pediatric dentist with after school hours going forward.

Our first visit was great. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. It's been along time since we have had a good dentist. Dr. Perdue is the one for us!! Highly recommend for teens.

Very good with children , my daughter felt comfortable enough to go in the office without a parent .. for her visit which is a big game changer for her she usually trust no one but dad or gm .. lot better than the last dentist.this said the tech was rough on her when she flossed her teeth complained with sore gums on two of her teeth for about 3 or 4 days I will be bringing my daughter back here because she likes the dentist all though she concerned where her tech was that I don't know his name younger guy maybe middle aged he jokes around a lot with the kids and she really missed him.alway a good experience.

Great Pediatric Dentist! We are so happy to have found Dr. Perdue's office. The building is very clean and child friendly. The staff is very kind, and Dr. Perdue is knowledgeable and thorough and he was great with my child who was very afraid of dentists. Now he says the dentist is his favorite. You can tell when you come here that these people care about children!

Dr. Perdue is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and he takes time to explain treatment options in a thorough and thoughtful way. He went above and beyond to determine the best option for my 6 year old who had previous open heart surgery. His staff is also very caring and amazing! I highly suggest sedation, if recommended, as my daughter had a wonderful experience with no pain and no memory :) I have full confidence in Dr. Perdue and my daughter will be returning to complete treatment with Dr. Perdue at Vanderbilt. I drive 2 hours for my daughter to have the best care possible and We have had a wonderfully pleasant experience with Dr. Perdue who is an exceptional doctor!
