Dr. Edward Hassan graduated from State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine in 2007. He had extended training in Periodontics and Oral Pathology while he was in school. Dr. Hassan also had advanced training at Eric County Medical Center Oral surgery department. He was a clinical adjunctive instructor at University of Michigan Dental School between 2010 and 2015. Dr. Hassan has been giving back to the community by servicing at Holy Cross Children's Services at St. Vincent from 2013 to 2015. He has devoted his time at federal funded facility to help out the local community. Dr. Hassan enjoys home improvement after work. His favorite channel is HGTV.
Dr. Tsaoyin Liu obtained her undergraduate degree at Oakland University in Industrial Health and safety, concentrated on OSHA and EPA regulations. She graduated from State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine in 2007. She had extended training in Prosthodontics while in school. Dr. Liu was awarded with Outstanding Undergraduate Achievement in the Study of Prosthodontics in 2005. She was again awarded with the Certificate of Achievement by The Foundation of the American Prosthodontics Society in 2006. Dr. Liu practices in Michigan because she found herself drawn back to her home state after graduating dental school. She has been involved in teaching at University of Michigans Dental School from 2010 to 2018. She had changed many lives by rebuilding smiles one at a time. Dr. Liu continues to give back to tri-city community with providing services at federal funded facility from 2010 to 2018. She enjoys spending time with her family. Playing piano with their eleven years old daughter is her new favorite thing.Dr. Hassan and Dr. Liu are classmates in dental school and married soon after graduation. They completed numerous continue education courses throughout the years to keep up to date with all area of dentistry. They are both proud to be the members of American Dental Association and Michigan Dental Association.

Jessica was born and raised In Munger where she attended Bay City Central High School and Delta College. She has been a part of the team at Hassan and Liu PLLC since 2017. As your account and insurance specialist, Jessica is dedicated to answer your questions in these area. She has helped thousands of patients to achieve their optimal smile. Jessica is married and has a son named Kane, and 2 fur babies Lilly and Kix. She enjoys snack time, snowmobiling, four wheeling, eating potatoes, spending time with her friends and family, and making people smile.
Kati was born and raised in Gladwin. She has been a part of the Hassan and Liu PLLC team since July 2019. Kati is your scheduling coordinator who can help you and your family to stay on track with your oral care. She enjoys being a twin mom to Brantley and Brooklyn, Spending time with her Fianc Ryan and Kitties, doing her nails, and she also is a HUGE fan of Taco Bell. Kati loves to help patients; she enjoys getting to know everyone to make a better office - patient relationship. She enjoys being the 'face of the office' and loves her job.
Meghann was born and raised in Midland where she attended Bullock Creek and Midland High. Meghann has been part of the Hassan and Liu team since July 2020.She spent 7 years working in the hair industry but loves working with our patients now. Meghann ensures the safety of our patients is in place by screening each and every individual prior to admission. She lovescamping, hunting, family time, and spending time with her son Liam and Fianc Hunter. You will see Meghann alot here at Hassan and liu as she loves to be outside taking temps in all kinds of weather.
Jessica is a Registered Dental Hygienist, licensed in Local Anesthetic and Nitrous Oxide. She graduated from Delta Community College. She has been a part of the team at Hassan and Liu since February 2018. She is experienced in adult and children cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and placing pit and fissure sealants to prevent cavities. Jessica loves helping patients calm their dental fears and become excited about seeing the dentist. As your Lead Dental Hygienist, she maintains the department to provide high quality, comfortable, and enjoyable visits. She enjoys spending time with her husband and her daughters Everly and Eliza, relaxing, camping and traveling.
Krystle is a Registered Dental Assistant, graduated from Delta College in 2008. She has been a part of the team at Hassan and Liu PLLC since 2015. She is a state registered dental assistant with expanded functions, a member of the American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA) & the Mid-Michigan Dental Assistants Society (MMDAS). Krystle served on the Dental Assisting Board for Delta College as well as serving on the Assisting Board at the state level. Krystle is licensed to place all silver fillings and tooth color fillings in pits and fissures. Krystle enjoys shopping, Starbucks, & spending time with her husband and son.
Kathryn( Katy) is a Dental Apprentice who joined the Hassan and Liu dental team in January of 2021.You will see Katy floating around the office helping with Dr Liu and Dr Hassan's dental chairs, and doing lab work. Katy was born and raised in Hemlock and attends Delta College for Dental. She enjoys traveling, sports, spending time with her family and friends and hanging out with her dog.

Been a patient for several years service is good, their quirkiness was tolerable for 2 cleanings a year. Billing is unorganized and very rude. Had appointment canceled when I was less than 5 minutes late once. Found out I was discharged as a patient for an un-paid Co-pay of 20$ today but they won't let you pay at appointment time and never received a bill.

I've been going to Dr. Hassan and Liu for about two years now and have found every experience with them to be fantastic. The staff and doctors are all very kind and professional, do a great job with all the services I have had (cleanings and a custom bite guard), and offer honest advice and recommendations (I previously went to an Aspen dental office that was horribly pushy with services and products that I did not need). I highly recommend this dentist!

My 6 year old complained of some tooth pain. Brought him in to discover he'd cracked his tooth! Dr. Liu took care of patching him up until we can see a pediatric specialist. The team here is beyond amazing. They are so kind and take the time to explain everything and answer any questions you have. They are flexible when scheduling and overall just fantastic people! Highly recommend!

I have been neglecting my teeth for 10 years (awful, yes I know, don't judge me!) I had so much anxiety when I came into the office I was almost in tears. I expressed this to my hygienist Kaitlyn and she was so incredibly kind and talked me through everything. I am so thankful to her. Dr. Hassan was so kind and talked me through everything as well. I am so happy with the choice to come here and would highly recommend this office to anyone.

I have been to alot of dentists, and this office is just amazing. The dentist's themselves do awesome work, and are very gentle and friendly. The rest of the staff is great too. They always run on time as well, which is rare! They have helped me restore my smile which was in bad shape. I can't recommend them enough

Decent dentistry, Awful administration. Waited 6 months for my appointment. Received a voicemail 11 a.m. the day before to confirm and by 2 p.m. it was cancelled. Reason given - I had not called back within 3 hours and they "have orders to fill the seats." Administrator was unapologetic and condescending.

Had a scheduled appointment,drove 40 minutes only to get a call 5 minutes ahead of my appointment to get told "we don't know what happend" and that I can't be seen! Wouldn't push back a later appointment or anything for the inconvenience or the drive! So I got my records and will not be back nor my family! #Cancelled!

I recently went in for my cleaning. The staff is always welcoming and their covid protocol is very well thought out. If i ever have any new issues with my teeth they always explain options and set an appointment as soon as they're available. The hygienists are always professional and very gentle with their cleanings. Not bad on the eyes either. I always enjoy going to the practice of Hassan&Liu.
