Dr. Feinbergs mission is to prevent oral health problems, to help patients maintain properly functioning teeth during their lives and to help them look and feel their best. We take great pride in helping people. We treat people with kindness and tender loving care; and we strive for patient comfort during the entire course of treatment.

Dr. Feinberg has been helping patients through evidence-based dentistry for over 30 years. Dr. Feinbergs mentor was Dr. Elliot Feinberg, an expert in full mouth restorative dentistry who restored thousands of full mouth cases with crown and bridgework, precision attachments and implant restorations. The principles and techniques which he developed were based on the teachings of his predecessor, Dr. I. Franklin Miller, and the evidence for these techniques is documented in a collection of more than 100,000 slides that date back to 1950. Dr. Elliot Feinberg was also a renowned instructor who gave demonstration courses to dentists in the office from 1957 to 1997. Dr. Edward Feinberg continues to provide care to patients in accordance with the evidence-based principles and teachings of Dr. Elliot Feinberg and Dr. I. Franklin Miller.

We spend a great deal of time with patients to ensure that they are well informed about the status of their oral health, the importance of preventative care in the office and at home, and any treatment options (including pros, cons, costs etc.) necessary to restore dental health. The new patient exam for difficult cases is thorough and consists of a minimum of two visits. Between the two visits we not only analyze X-Rays and prepare models, we also consult with specialists in orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics etc. as needed.

All diagnostic materials are carefully studied before any treatment is suggested. Great care is taken to develop treatment plans that are tailored to individual needs, promote health and longevity of restorations and include contingency plans in the event of complications. Our staff is well qualified to help answer questions regarding practice philosophy, office procedures and financial/insurance matters.

The purpose of dental treatment is not just to restore but to prevent or compensate for any future trouble. Restorative Dentistry here is custom-made to perfection. We use only the finest materials, and everything is custom made with the highest skill and precision. We do not skip steps or take short cuts because we want the most ideal results. All of the impressions, models and blueprints for restorations are made here, not by laboratory technicians elsewhere. We also fabricate all of our own temporary restorations. Great care is taken to ensure that temporaries promote comfort, proper function, improved appearance and health between visits.

We care deeply about our patients comfort and well-beingboth during dental procedures and after. There is no reason patients should feel pain during a dental procedure. We never make judgmentswe want our patients dental experience to be pleasant.

Since graduating from Tufts University in 1977, Dr. Edward Feinberg has been on a mission to help patients and improve the profession of Dentistry. A practicing dentist in Peoria, Arizona, he is the successor to a tradition established in 1948 by his father, Dr. Elliot Feinberga renowned expert, teacher and author in the field of crown and bridgework, precision attachment partial dentures and implant restorations. The principles and techniques of this tradition are documented in a growing collection of more than 100,000 slides of cases that date back to 1950. Dr. Feinbergs foremost mission is to provide patient care according to these principles. A second mission is to share these principles with other practitioners through seminars, publications, the internet, and the Online World Academy of Restorative Dentistry (www.theonwardprogram.com), which he directs.

Dr. Feinbergs third mission is to improve the profession through participation in organized dentistry, and he has been active in local, state and national levels. He has served the 1500 members of the Ninth District Dental Association as President, Membership Chairman and Editor of its quarterly publication. He is a recipient of the Ninth Districts highest awardthe D. Austin Sniffen Medal of Honor. For the New York State Dental Association, Dr. Feinberg participated as chairman of the Committee to Supervise the Student Program, chairman of the Publications Council and component reporter/contributor to the New York State Dental Journal. Dr. Feinberg now serves on the Arizona Dental Associations Council on Annual Sessions. Dr. Feinberg has also served on four councils of the American Dental Association. He is a past president of the Scarsdale Rotary Club, the Scarsdale Dental Society, and the New York State Section of the International College of Dentists.

In addition to ADA participation Dr. Feinberg has served as Chairman of the New York State Section of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and continues to assist the PFA behind the scenes in both New York and Arizona. Organizations that enjoy his support and participation include the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, the American Association of Dental Editors, and the International Academy of Dentofacial Esthetics.

I have been blessed to be part of wonderful professiona profession that changes peoples lives and provides endless fascination and challenges. I had a wonderful mentor and role modelmy father, Dr. Elliot Feinberg. As a result, I developed a deep conviction to give back to the profession that has given so much to me. My responsibility as a professional is not just to be a great dentist, but to make the profession of dentistry great for others as well. From the beginning of my I have been involved in volunteer efforts to enhance the profession that I love.

As a volunteer, I have enjoyed a unique opportunity to personally shape the future of my profession. My volunteer efforts were tremendous learning experiences that allowed me to develop skills in leadership, delegating, budgeting, communicating, public speaking, writing, working with computers, planning and hosting events, public relations and advocacy. Volunteerism has not only provided me with this special opportunity for learning, it has been a continual source of personal growth. I have made lifelong relationships with individuals all over the countrypeople I would otherwise never meet.

None of this would have been possible were it not for my father and mentor, Dr. Elliot Feinberg and his mentor Dr. I. Franklin Miller. These pioneers in restorative dentistry formed the foundation for everything that I am and the dentistry that I have to offer.

Thanks are in order to my consultants and advisors for their help with this project: Ms. Tammy Holmes, Mr. Paul Herrerras and Ms. Irene Doti. My staff members have been a source of guidance and inspiration for me: Mrs. Josephine Furnari, Mrs. Denise Lubowsky, Mrs. Sandra Pugliese, Mrs. Sally Ann Perrotta, Mr. Dave Gresta and Mr. JD Giordano. I am deeply grateful to my accountant, Mr. Jim Cardillo, for his help and support. Inspiration and guidance also came from my sister, Ms. Andi Feinberg and from my mother, Ms. Lita Feinberg.

I would also like to express my deepest appreciation to my digital marketing consultant and webmaster, Mr. Rob Shapiro [website]. We spent countless hours together in painstaking work for this project. Thank you for your magnificent artistry, dedication and care that soar above and beyond the call of duty.

Lastly, I am eternally grateful for the collaboration with my fellow officers of the Online World Academy of Restorative Dentistry (www.theonwardprogram.com ): Dr. Michael Beck, Dr. John Constantine, Dr. Michael Teitelbaum and Dr. Janet Zaiff.

We have unique expertise that has documented success over decades even with the most difficult full mouth cases imaginable. Because our approach to restorative dentistry is different from what is currently taught in most dental schools, we can provide treatment options that are rarely offered and that often avoid dental implants.

  • Save Hopeless teeth teeth that most restorative dentists would extract in favor of implants. This includes teeth that are flush with the gum and we save these teeth without posts (that often cause root fractures) or buildups!
  • Create permanent and temporary Crowns and Bridgework that do not fall out. Crown and bridgework that falls out can leak and decay. Our restorations are made on the model of the Mason Jar cover the best-known method of food preservation. As a result, recurrent decay around restorations is a rarity.
  • Fabricate Double-Tilt Precision Attachment Partial Dentures. For Greater Phoenix Area patients who cannot restore their dental arches with fixed bridgework, we create removable restorations that do not fall out, do not need powder or paste, do not show unsightly hooks and are worn 24 hours a day. These cases are accurate to .0001 and require minimal maintenance even after decades of continuous wear. These cases also last longer than any other type of case, and they are well documented in Dr. Feinbergs textbook.
  • Create Unique Implant Restorations. We take extra care to design implant restorations that screw into the implants rather than cement over them. As a result, we have better control over potential problems that might develop in the future.
  • Restore an entire arch of teeth with only 3 implants. This kind of case is not a denture that snaps over the implants. It has proven success for over 26 years. Patients can bite into anything. There is minimal surgery, since the implants are placed in the most predictable areas for success. Bone grafts and sinus lift surgeries are rarely required! Less than 1% of dental offices in the entire country can offer this type of case to patients.
  • Offer Options for Greater Phoenix Area Patients who Cannot Have Sophisticated Dentistry. We help patients who cannot have extensive dentistry. These patients are often turned away because many practitioners dont know what to do for them. We believe in saving teeth as long as possible and that gradual transitions are kinder than drastic changes. We have seen miracles happen during the past 70 years with this approach. We always strive to ensure that patients do not have to worry about walking around without teeth.
  • Many Greater Phoenix Area patients do not realize that just because they were told that teeth have to be extracted does not necessarily mean that someone else cannot save them. Restorative Dental practitioners have different levels of expertise. The amateur practitioner commonly follows a piecemeal approach to dentistry that only considers filling a hole or a space. This approach has been heavily promoted by insurance companies and is often not in the best interest of the patients overall oral health. By contrast, an expert follows an overall approach that takes into account overall health as well as potential problems that may arise in the future. A carefully considered treatment plan includes a contingency for managing weak or uncertain areas so that future problems do not jeopardize the success of the entire treatment. We believe patients deserve this kind of thinking especially if they are reaching financially to have restorative dentistry. But finances are not the only consideration just as important is what treatment patients will have to sit through.
