Was diagnosed with periodontal disease, two cavities and I needed a crown. Told them that can't be true. Asked they just do a cleaning. Tech said since I was diagnosed, they had to do root/planning procedure, and were going to numb me. I got up and left. They billed my insurance for the procedure even though it wasn't done. Found a new dentist; guess what; my gums are in great shape, no cavities and don't need a crown...hmmmm. Beware

Hi, I recently got to meet Doctor Smith and his assistant Dawn and the front end Mary Beth. Let me first say I'm 50 yrs old and been to a ton of dentists. Dr Smith and Dawn are the best I've ever seen. They are nice, most gentle, and compassion. They understood my fears and made me feel comfortable. I would recommend them highly thank you Mary Beth, Dawn and Dr Smith.

I had an $1800 root canal + crown done 3 years ago. The crown crumbled to dust after a year and a half. What the ?????? The dentist was totally not patient friendly...in fact, rather rude, like he was doing me a favor . Dental care in this part of Northern New York appears to be totally sub-par. What a shame, considering all the toothless young people

Another great dentist visit to Dr. Edward D. Smith, DDS. In Ogdensburg NY. I drive 60 miles from Watertown NY because Dr. Smith is a compassionate and kind dentist with a whole lot of experience and great staff. Dr.Edward D. Smith, DDS. is the best in dentistry. He has a great team of family and staff. They are all top of the line professionals, with superb workmanship, artistry and state of the art equipment. I highly recommend to any one looking for a dentist or a second opinion. Today I came in with a chipped tooth and Dr. Smith quickly assessed the situation and recommend I move forward without Novocain as this procedure should not cause any pain. Whew! He was right and the work came out beautifully. If you need quality work, at an affordable price, then you need to call Dr. Smith to set up an appointment. You will thank God you did. I do every day and have been thankful for the 20 plus years he and his staff have been serving my dental needs. Thank you so much! Always, your most grateful patient, Jeffry Weldon

Our family has been patients of this practice for nearly two decades. It's an hour drive one way for us to go there, but we won't go anywhere else! Excellent dental work. Very accommodating for routine and emergent care. Professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and friendly atmosphere. I HIGHLY recommend this dentistry.
