I enjoy interacting with patients and developing a relationship with their families, as we work together to create beautiful smiles and enhance patients self-image. My philosophy has always been, Do the right thing, at the right time, for the right reasons to get the best results. Treat others as you would want to be treated. Dr. E. MacKay Tingey received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. He also graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in German with a minor in Philosophy. He graduated from the University of Washington with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He received his post-doctoral training and residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas where he obtained a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology and a certificate in orthodontics.
Dr. Tingey enjoys mountain biking, fly-fishing, gardening, volleyball, and coaching. He is very involved with church and Boy Scouts. Dr. Tingey and his wife have been married for 24 years and they have three children.

When you walk through the doors of Tingey Orthodontics, you will be greeted by Michelle's smiling face. She is chock-full of great ideas that make the office stand apart. Michelle enjoys decorating the office for holidays and planning our TINGEY parties. Michelle has worked in the dental field for more than 25 years. She loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys entertaining, painting, shopping, and seeing movies.
If you need help with your insurance or other benefits, Dolly actually enjoys helping you understand your coverage, as well as assisting in FSA and HSA reimbursement through your employer to assist families receiving maximum benefits. Dolly is very passionate and patient. She is flexible in designing a payment plan that fits your financial needs. Dolly also has several years of experience as a clinical assistant. In Dolly's spare time, she enjoys traveling and entertaining family and friends.
Joell brings with her more than 25 years experience in the dental field and we are excited to have her. Joell is no stranger to Tingey Orthodontics; she and her boys have been patients here. In her free time, she loves to hike, read, shop, and spend time with her family.
Susan has more than 25 years in the dental field. She loves the patients and enjoys seeing the wonderful impact a straight smile can have on a person's self-esteem. Susan always has a smile on her face and makes every patient feel special. Fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends are some of her favorite things.
Lisa has the best giggle that will surely make you smile. She has been in the dental field since 2007 and we are so lucky to have her on our team. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, she has 2 boys and a new baby girl.
You will love Leigh's fun and happy personality and she will help to comfort any fears you may have of coming to the orthodontist. Leigh has worked in the dental field since 2001. In her spare time, she loves working on her family cabin and spending time with her kids.
Kayla is our newest team member and is a recent graduate from Washington State University. She loves the outdoors, country music,watching Netflix, drinking coffee and LOVES EVERYTHING pink. Fun fact about Kayla: she has been showing miniature horses since she was 2 years old. She has a fantastic personality and a beautiful smile. We are excited to work with her.

This is a special place! Though you will see Dr. Tingey's name on the door he wholeheartedly believes in the visibility and celebration of the whole team (you included)! Everyone is welcoming, super professional, and so knowledgeable about the best treatment (in every sense of the word) plan for each client. I am actually sad that my daughter has finished her braces journey as we will truly miss contributing to the games, the cards in the mail, the brightly themed office, and the amazing team!! This is where you want to go for you and your family's orthodontic journey!!

From the front desk, to the assistants, and Dr. Tingey himself, the staff here is wonderful, kind, warm, friendly, and caring. You are a part of the treatment and are fully informed along the way. Dr. Tingey's chairside manner is amazing. My dental nervous son feels totally at ease and comfortable in Dr. Tingey's care. An all around 5 star practice!

Meet with Dolly today because we are starting treatment soon and I had a few questions about our insurance coverage. She was incredibly helpful and so kind. She figured out all the answers we needed to get figured out before treatment and was so kind and so patient with the whole thing. She truly went above and beyond to help us.

Personal proactive treatment plans are administered by a pleasant professional and proficient team led by Dr. Tingey, a skilled orthodontist. After finishing three complex mouths in our home and with two more orthodontic adjustments yet to go, we can heartily recommend Tingey Orthodontics. You won't be disappointed.

Dr. Tingey has amazing technical skills AND highly impressive soft skills in the form of patient interaction. Our 7 year old daughter had her expander installed just hours before the CoVid closure. We couldn't be more thankful for Dr. Tingey's FaceTime appointments every two week until we could safely return to the office again. He talks to his young patients explaining what the treatment is doing for their mouth/teeth -encouraging a high level of patient buy in to treatment and then touches base with parents too. We highly recommend him for his attentiveness!

When searching for a good orthodontist, me and my mom had seen a few different people for consultations but we absolutely loved tingy and decided to stick with them. As a patient I loved Dr. Tingy and his staff, my two younger brothers went to Dr. Tingy as well (we couldn't imagine choosing a different orthodontist with how great they all were) and they both liked him as well. As an adult I still see tingy staff around the area and am surprised when they recognize me back, shows how much they all care and the personal touch they add to orthodontics.

Dr Tingey and his staff go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcomed and well taken care of. They are very friendly, skilled you can tell they are a great team. The office is always elaborately decorated for the season/holiday. It's something we look forward to seeing during each visit.

Our son has had trouble breathing and sleeping since he was little (snoring, wheezing, etc.) The structural changes that Dr. Tingey made have not only improved his bite and made room for his teeth, but have greatly improved his sleep and breathing. He's better rested now which improves his life in many ways. He had his adenoids and tonsils removed , which provided some improvement, but the orthodontic work proved to be at least as effective as the surgeries in helping him . Throw in a wonderful staff and fun, professional office, and it's been a great experience all around.

Fabulous results and wonderful, friendly staff! He innovated to give me results that other orthodontists said couldn't be done with Invisalign.
