Dr. Etienne P. Lacrampe is a native of the East Bay. After graduating with a degree in history from UC Davis, Dr. Lacrampe decided to follow the footsteps of his father and pursue a career in dentistry. He graduated with his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2003.
After spending significant time observing Dr. Robert Marks and Dr. Don Morris, heelected to attend aspecialty residency in periodontics and dental implants, obtaining hisCertificate in Periodontics and Dental Implantsfrom Oregon Health & Sciences University in 2006.Additionally, Dr. Lacrampe is a leader ofseveral Study Clubs that promote the best comprehensive patient care.
Dr. Lacrampe stays on top of the most recent technologies, trends, and techniques through hundreds of hours of continuing education annually. This affords himthe ability to perform soft tissue grafting without the use of a palatal harvest site. Such a technique enables an excellent esthetic result without the need for a second, more painful surgical site. This is just one of many techniques that Dr. Lacrampe has perfected to provide excellent care to his valued patients.
Dr. Lacrampe is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology which designates his successful completion of a rigorous board certification process. In addition to being board certified, he is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Contra Costa Dental Society, and the California Society of Periodontists.
When he is away from the office heenjoys spending time with his wife, Kristin, and their sons, Lucien and Sebastien. The entire family, including their German Shepherd(Boston) and Golden Retriever(Lottie), enjoys spending time in the numerous parks, hiking paths, and running trails of Northern California.
Claribel is the engine that makes the practice run! She is always ready to help both our valued patients and our referring office teams. Her knowledge and compassion put everyone at ease, knowing that they are in expert and caring hands.
Marie is often the first friendly face you meet at Lacrampe Perio. She has been in our practice for 3 years and truly enjoys seeing each valued patient. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her children and grandchildren.
Julia is the definition of calm, compassionate care at Lacrampe Perio. We are very fortunate to have her in the practice. When not caring for our valued patients, she enjoys time with her family, exploring the Bay Area.
Sandy is a valued surgical RDA. Her skill and passion for dentistry are evident to her team members, our patients, and our referring partners. When away from the practice, she enjoys time with her family and creating beautiful paintings.
Nancy has been practicing dental hygiene in our practice for over 30 years! She is a master educator and believe it is her calling to help patients maintain oral health. In her spare time, Nancy enjoys time with her family and maintaining her beautiful gardens.
After an almost 50 year career as a gifted and dedicated general dentist, we are fortunate enough to have Dr. Deverman serving our valued patients as a hygienist. He adds so much value to each patients experience. Our patients can look forward to great care and friendly banter. When not in the office, Dr. John enjoys time with his wife, kids, and grandchildren.
Barbara brings her considerable experience and personal touch to our valued patients. She is universally appreciated for her sense of humor, excellent patient education, and genuine compassion. Away from the practice, Barbara trains her three Border Collies for agility and confirmation.
Cori is the dynamo of our hygiene department. She is enthusiastic about patient education and enjoys making every patient feel like a valued partner in their oral health. We are fortunate to have Cori three days a week in the practice. Away from the rigors of oral hygiene, Cori finds joy in nature and outdoor sports.

I went to see Doctor Martin on 10/6/20 for an abscess tooth. They took an X Ray of the affected area. The doctor simply told me that the tooth had to be extracted. That's it. He did not elaborate as the causes, what was wrong with the tooth, the treatment of the abscess, the consequences of not extracting the tooth, the long term effects, how to prevent future problems, etc. When I asked him about all these and more questions he responded succinctly and not extensively, forcing me to press for more needed information to understand what was going on. I expected that after more than 10 years of treatment with Dr. Martin, he would have been more forthcoming with the knowledge he already had of my condition through my many previous visits.

Although I have only been to Dr. Martin for consultations so far, I have found him to be competent and caring. He listens, explains and answers all your questions. He gives alternatives even when he does not benefit financially.

Very professional and friendly as well. On time. Explained things thoroughly. Have been to this practice previously so I am a returning, satisfied patient. Just wish I didn't have such poor teeth!

Today my son saw Dr. Martin..his staff is polite and friendly and the environment is clean and comfortable. My son has special needs (Autism/non verbal) Dr. Martin was very gentle and explained everything to him and myself. My daughter and myself have seen Dr. Martin in the past and were also pleased.

Dr. Martin came into his office on his day off to look at my tooth he implanted several years ago. I wasn't sure if the pressure I was feeling in my gums was the implant or another tooth. I was impressed! Luckily it wasn't the implant :-) How many doctors would open their office for one patient? Thank you Dr. Martin.

Simply best dental service I ever had! We go to Dr. Martin for 20 years. He and his office is a rare combination of a great skill and wonderful bedside manner. While his office is very much in demand, he always gives you very personalized attention. We strongly recommend Dr. Martin and his office for all your periodontal needs.

Very friendly, highly competent staff. Barbara was terrific, talking about a long list of dental care issues, products to use, the pros and cons of various options, etc. It's helpful to get so much education during a cleaning, plus it's a great distraction to listen to her instead of lying there in silence. The professional services of Dr. Martin and my hygienist Cory made the dental process very smooth and efficient. Jennifer's guidance from entry to exit made the entire experience of my appointment one of excellent service.

This was my first visit to Dr Martin's office and it came during Covid-19. I felt extremely safe from the waiting room to Dr Martin's room to Sylvia, the hygienist's room. I can't forget Jennifer who I talked to on the phone multiple times and she was the first person I met face to face when I entered the waiting room. Dr Martin was extremely professional as was Sylvia. Sylvia gave me advice on what I should do when cleaning my teeth and caring for my gums. Jennifer my first point of contact has always been a pleasure to talk to and very helpful.
