I have a broken front bridge and Dr. Tollefson was recommended to me. First consult on 3/4/2021. I called on 3/16 to see if any update. Went in for 2nd consult/exam on 3/19 and talked through options. On 4/13 I called to see if any update. I called again on 4/21 to see if any update. Jayla said last note on my account was on 4/8 and options were still being reviewed. On 4/21 Diana called and said Dr T felt like bridge could be replaced and he was going to consult with endodontist. On 4/26 Dr T left me a message. Said it looks like bridge can be replaced and he was waiting on Lab to get back to him. On 5/5 I called to get update. Office closed until 5/11. On 5/11 I called to get update. Left message. Diana called me back and said that Dr T won't be able to help me. Have I called other dentists? So I basically waited/wasted over 2 months for Dr T to tell me he wasn't going to take my case. And he had Diana, his Assistant, call to tell me. So unprofessional.

I have had a bad experience at a past dentist office, making me very fearful to see any dentist at all. Dr. Tollefson and his staff offered a very friendly, welcoming and compassionate atmosphere. Today I had a cleaning and a filling done. I was so scared to get the Novocain shot, but was extremely relieved when I didn't even feel it!! I think I have finally found a dentist and office that I trust and I will be returning! I recommend 100%!!

Great staff, very friendly with a welcoming atmosphere. They were able to accommodate me on short notice and treated me like family. Would definitely recommend.

Had my # 16 wisdom tooth removed. The procedure was quick and painless while the entire staff was very accommodating, friendly, informed and extremely polite. Highly recommend.

I consider myself very fortunate to have has Dr. Tollefson as my dentist for 27 years, since I returned from Seattle. Drake and this staff are trained and skilled in the latest dental techniques, have always been completely up front about my needed procedures, and always offered reasonable options for me to consider when appropriate. I've needed a typical amount of dental care in my life, and what amazes me most is how, when I've needed novocaine, they inject it without the slightest pinch. I guess that comes from experience. Even the bigger procedures seemed painless to me, and I have sensitive teeth. After my appointments I feel uplifted. The conversation in the office is always open, upbeat and fun. In fact, I have to admit when the dental assistant is cleaning my teeth, I love hearing the great conversations that go on in other rooms. In the end, the quality is there in the results. My teeth and gums are in great shape. I trust Drake and the staff completely and have recommended them to friends over the years. My kids will go to Distinctive Smiles in a few years.

I've been going to Dr. Tollefson for almost 30 years. My daughter/son-in-law and grandchildren also go there. Great place, state of the art equipment, and very friendly staff. Recommend highly!

My family and I have been going to Dr. T for a few years now. Dr T and his staff is always friendly, professional and very knowledgable. I recommend his office to anyone that asks for a good dentist.

Dr T and his assistants always make me feel comfortable and let me know up front what is to be done. Couldn't ask for better care from a dentist and his staff!

My kids absolutely love Dr Tollefson, after seeing other dentist they will Only see him now. He is great with kids as well as adults.

This is the best dentist that I have ever used. I have recommended them to a few of my friends and they have all liked Distinctive Smiles as well. Dr. Tollefson is very personable and knowledgeable. The hygienists are also great. The only negative thing that I can say is that my Humana insurance does not fully cover the visit for a cleaning. I wish that they accepted my dental plan. A friend that I recommended from work who has the same insurance plan had to pay full price for a filling.
