Dr. Christiansen is the best dentist I have ever had in my life. His demeanor is instantly calming, and his work is impeccable. I recently had some small fillings right in the middle of my TWO FRONT TEETH replaced - they had become discolored over time and while they were medically fine, the aesthetic was bothering me. I never knew I could get this excited about fillings. The shape is beautiful and they look way better than before. I liked my old dentist but Dr. Christiansen is in a league of his own. Also, everyone on his staff is exceedingly nice and helpful. The front desk goes above and beyond to help you with scheduling, billing, etc. And the hygienists have given me the best and most thorough teeth cleanings I've ever had. Convenient location and easy parking are just the icing on the cake.

Best dentist ever! I went into the office today with a chipped tooth that I have been putting off getting fixed for quite some time. It's my front tooth so it was important that I went to someone who would get the job done right. Next thing I knew I got a composite filling that is barely even noticeable it matches so well- very impressed! Dr Christiansen gave me recommendations on issues I may be having in regards to corrosion inside my front tooth. I wasn't happy with my previous orthodontist so he was able to make recommendations on what I can do to make sure my bite and smile are exactly how I want them to be. I went in just thinking I was getting my tooth fixed and came out with so much more. Not the kind of dentist that tried to sell me one thing, just simply talked to me about my concerns and the best solutions. Jessica at the front desk was so friendly and went out of her way to be prompt and courteous to each patient that came in the door. I am never going to another dentist again- I found the one who truly has my best interest!! Thank you Dr Christiansen and team, you guys rock!!!

Dr. Christiansen is beyond doubt the best dentist I've ever had, and believe me I've met a few dentists in my life! He is kind, thorough, and conservative in his approach, leaning more towards restorative than replacement.

Some dentists like to up-sell you procedures (mostly cosmetic) that you don't need. Not Doug Christiansen. My wife and I have trusted him with all our dental needs for many years. We bounced through a few dentists before we found Dr Christiansen. When I asked him about night guards, grinding, TMJ and other stuff that had been implied to me previously he shared why I didn't need it. However, when my wife asked him about Invisi Line to straighten her teeth. They discussed it and he told her to think about it. SHE decided she wanted to proceed after thinking about it outside of his office. It's been several years and her teeth still look great.

I am 39 and had a temporary filling by dr Christiansen when I was 20 - it's still there Need I continue? His temporary work is better than most dentists permanent work. His office staff rules and he has traveled far to do dentist clinics in places where they'd have no hope without him. He's awesome

His touch is so gentle that I went to sleep while he was drilling in my mouth. Will never go to another dentist as long I am in San Diego.
