Dr. Echetebu grew up in Brentwood, Tennessee, near Nashville. He earned a bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, completing DDS studies at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Dr. Echetebu served residence at the Foundry Dental Clinic in Birmingham, Alabama, through NYU Lutheran. In this Advanced Education in General Dentistry program, the doctor earned certification in sedation and implant dentistry.

While Dr. Echetebu enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, he takes special interest in implantology placing and restoring dental implants oral surgery, and sedation techniques. At Dental Care of Germantown, he welcomes every opportunity to meet new people and provide the highest level of patient care. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Tennessee Dental Association.

He met his wife, Andrea, during his dental school years and subsequently moved back to Memphis to marry her. When he is not at the office, Dr. Echetebu enjoys time with family and friends and playing sports.

Amber, Dental Hygienist Amber came to Dental Care of Germantown in 2017, bringing a love for her chosen career and a big heart for her patients. That compassion shows in her everyday work. Amber finds it most rewarding to hear that her gentle manner helps patients overcome dental anxiety. She has also furthered her education to be licensed in treating periodontal disease with laser treatment, and she has an astute gift for getting children acclimated to the dental experience.

Amber is married, and the couples days are brightened by the company of her two beautiful boys. Amber loves an adventure, traveling and spending time outdoors with her family and friends. She looks forward to seeing you soon!

Katie, Dental Hygienist Katie is one of our favorite dental hygienists at Dental Care of Germantown. She moved to Memphis with her husband in the summer of 2020. She is from Gulfport, Mississippi. She went to Mississippi State before pursuing her love for dental hygiene at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Her favorite part about her job is meeting new faces and helping patients achieve their desired smiles.

Growing up, Katie was surrounded by water and continues to enjoy outdoor activities like boating and sunny beach days with her two furry children, Grizz and Monjy. She is an avid tennis player and loves spending time with friends and family.

Angelia, Registered Dental Assistant Angelia began her dental career over 18 years ago as a dental assistant. She has experience in general dentistry, oral surgery and orthodontics. She takes pride in working with our patients every day and looks forward to meeting new patients as well as continuing her great relationships with our current patients. She loves the family atmosphere here at our office. She met her husband after moving back to Memphis from Missouri, and she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Nolan, Treatment Plan Coordinator Nolan grew up in Southaven, Mississippi. He attended the University of Mississippi and then joined the military in 2014. He served seven years in the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman. At the end of his service, he attained the Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force Achievement Medals.

In his free time, he loves being outdoors and likes to travel. He enjoys playing soccer and coaches a youth soccer team in his hometown. Nolan likes to give back, periodically teaching at the Navy Reserve center and local JROTC program.

He is a certified medical assistant with a specialty in trauma and is a registered expanded function dental assistant. His current goals, both personal and professional, are to continue to develop his skills in the dental field and strive to give patients an exceptional dental experience. His long-term goal is to attend dental school and apply all the skills and knowledge he gained while practicing dentistry.

Interrupted and paused breathing while you sleep are the defining characteristics of sleep apnea. When this is caused by obstructions in your airway, it is called obstructive sleep apnea. Some examples of obstructions include the tongue rolling to the back on the throat and collapsed tissue in the airway.
