I have been a part of the dental community in the Bay area for the last 20 years. My goal is to help my patients get the smile they desire and deserve! I am truly dedicated to serve my patients and try my best not to let finances prevent them from getting the treatment they need. Dr. Chang has been a practicing dentist since 1988. He practiced general dentistry for 8 1/2 years before returning to school for his specialty eduction in periodontology and dental implants, at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Dr. Chang has practiced Periodontics for the past fifteen years with one goal, save teeth. And he achieves this goal by helping his patients attain and maintain healthy supporting bone and gums for those teeth. He is conservative in his treatment planning, but is aggressive when disease is present. He is proficient in all aspects of Periodontology.

I went there after I communicating them via email that do they take delta insurance they said yes. So I make an appt go there on scheduled time. I was told they don't take HMO so I had to leave and look for another dentist.

The best dr. In the world, experience, honest, trustworthy, affordable and very helpful, for 5 years he take care of me and my family, I drive all the way from Monterey, pleasent staff, clean clinic. Higly recommended.

They get the work done I suppose but wait times are way too long. I have to wait for over 30min. even if I came in on-time and they barely talk to you when you go inside. They complete the procedure with stern face and let you go on your way. Suffice to say, I chose a different Dentist and Orthodontist for my treatment.

I don't know why people give him 5 stars, I think he himself gives himself 5 stars because he himself knows he is the worst Dentist ever I have met in my life. He and his staff won't tell you the price ranges, and then suddenly they will send a big amount bill for just simple oral checkup nothing else. Please be aware of such Dentists. WORST DENTIST!!!!

He does not have a sense to talk to a patient, he is rude, and does not clarify the treatment plan on paper, instead he will just write down the payments via hand, and will not give a proper instructional billing paperwork for the treatment plan like other Dentists do. And if you get trapped with him you will suffer pain in your teeth which ever are treated, and he will try to get money out of your insurance and your pocket in many ways. FIND A GOOD DENTIST.

Dr. Shoker was extremely rude to my mom when she complained about a botched tooth extraction by his team. Completely unprofessional behavior. A simple apology would have sufficed, instead he's telling my mom that " we don't cause issues; we only fix the issues you patients bring to us". Maybe be prepared to be disrespected before you go here.

It was my first time at this place with my kids last week it was ok at first but I was disappointed how long it took and they didn't enforced the wearing of mask. Everyone in the lobby was wearing a mask accept one person and they didn't even care tell ask the gentlemen to wear his mask but his mother was wearing one. Today i called to cancel my kids appointment that was scheduled for tomorrow at 9:30 AM and I even got a card just for them to tell me that their weren't even scheduled for tomorrow but I have the appointment card SMFH. I hope they improve their services.
