Dr. Deval Shah was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2002. After completing a one-year intensive General Practice Residency hospital based training program at Advocate Illinois Masonic, she began working in a private practice office in Oak Lawn. During this time, she also served part time on the medical staff at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital training future dentists, and later at the University of Chicago Dental Department providing treatment to underserved children at La Rabida Childrens Hospital with their mobile unit. She has been providing care at Generations Family Dentistry since 2013 and loves being part of the LaGrange Park Community!
Dr. Shah believes it is of utmost importance to stay current with the technologies and advances in dentistry to provide the best care for you. She regularly attends seminars, study clubs and continuing education courses. She is a part of the Spear Study Club and Spencer Study Club. She also maintains membership with the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Shah strongly believes in preventative dentistry through routine checkups and identifying any issues before they become problems. She looks forward to the opportunity to be a partner in helping you achieve and maintain that healthy beautiful smile.
