Dr. Deval Shah was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2002. After completing a one-year intensive General Practice Residency hospital based training program at Advocate Illinois Masonic, she began working in a private practice office in Oak Lawn. During this time, she also served part time on the medical staff at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital training future dentists, and later at the University of Chicago Dental Department providing treatment to underserved children at La Rabida Childrens Hospital with their mobile unit. She has been providing care at Generations Family Dentistry since 2013 and loves being part of the LaGrange Park Community!
Dr. Shah believes it is of utmost importance to stay current with the technologies and advances in dentistry to provide the best care for you. She regularly attends seminars, study clubs and continuing education courses. She is a part of the Spear Study Club and Spencer Study Club. She also maintains membership with the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Shah strongly believes in preventative dentistry through routine checkups and identifying any issues before they become problems. She looks forward to the opportunity to be a partner in helping you achieve and maintain that healthy beautiful smile.

Dr Shah might just be the sweetest person I've ever met. Everyone who knows her and works with her and is a patient of hers would say the same. You simply must check her out if you're in the market for a great dentist!

Love everyone here. Amy is THE best dental hygienist and Dr Shah is always attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The newly remodeled office is beautiful. Highly recommend Generations Family Dentistry!

I am so happy that I found such a great, caring dentist! I decided to get invisalign after Dr. Shah fixed a couple of cavities and I am very happy with my results. The Dr always got me in as soon as she could if I had any problems. The entire staff is very friendly as well. Highly recommend this dentist!

Love Dr Shah. She is very professional and caring always concerned about your comfort during any procedure. She does very good work and I have always been pleased with the results of minor (cavity filled) or more extensive (cap/crown placement.).

I am so glad to have found Generations! Dr. Shah is a very thorough and intelligent practitioner. The last visit I had, she had hopped in with her staff and did my cleaning, as well as my check up and film images. I've never had a dentist help out and perform their own cleaning! This was also the first place I had ever had an oral cancer screening. I work in healthcare and this really impressed me that Dr. Shah was up to date with ensuring her patients have the most comprehensive dental assessment. The office staff is so personable and kind. They remember your name and face, they ask about your kids and hobbies. I highly recommend this office and their staff

Dr. Shah and her staff are just the best. Everyone is so patient, and they truly care about their patients. I don't think it's common to feel at ease at the dentist, but I honestly trust Generations Family Dentistry completely! I can't imagine going anywhere else.

My first visit was quite positive. I enjoyed filling out the required paper work via computer instead of by hand on several sheets of paper. Everyone from the receptionist on was super nice, professional and personable. The office was clean with a nice decor. I had no wait time as they were ready for me on time. I feel I received a great cleaning and check up. I also appreciated the staff being knowledgeable about my insurance plan and explaining my benefits. Great experience!

Dr. Shah and her staff provide great care. I was a little skeptical at first because of the location (humble-looking storefront-type building), but the inside is welcoming, very clean, and very comfortable. Dr. Shah seems to have very good judgment, is very personable, and does very good work so far. I would definitely recommend!
