Dr. Derek Zimbardi received his D.D.S. degree Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University School of Dental Medicine, Manhattan, New York in 1996. He received his B.A. degree in Biology at the State University of New York at Binghamton.
Dr. Zimbardi received his postdoctoral General Practice residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New Hyde Park, New York from 1996 to 1998. His final year of Residency was distinguished by being appointed Chief Resident.
Dr. Cristina David received her D.D.S. degree Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University School of Dental Medicine, Manhattan, New York in 2001. She received her Associate of Arts: Pre-Dentistry (1992) and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (1996) at Centro Escolar University, Manila, Philippines.
Dr. David received her postdoctoral General Practice residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New Hyde Park, New York from 2001 to 2003. Her final year of Residency was distinguished by being appointed Chief Resident.

I've been seeing Dr. David and Dr. Zimbardi for years and can't say enough good things about them both. Dr. David treated me for a complicated implant and crown procedure and she did such a fantastic job, my smile has never looked better. If you have anxiety about going to the dentist, this is the place to go because they are both so kind and welcoming. I live in the city now and still go out of my way to come see them on Long Island.

Terrible Customer Service! The lady at the front desk is not welcoming at all! I personally didn't feel that warm welcoming feeling walking in to the office. The lady at the front desk was very rude and rubbed me the wrong way. She didn't even greet me. Also, they have older technology, and the techs are really rough. Overall it was an uncomfortable experience and I highly recommend you consider another dental office. The choice is yours!

I travelled from Florida to be treated by Dr. Zimbardi. He's that good. I had extensive restorative work done. Almost no one wants to go to the dentist. I found the experience more than worthwhile. Derek's manner and professionalism make everything easy. Plus he's just a nice guy!

I have been a patient of Dr. Zimbardi's for over a decade at his old practice, and recently followed him here. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I have a pretty severe dental/medical/needle phobia, which he has been beyond fantastic with. He is nonjudgmental, an excellent listener, and never makes me feel 'crazy' or pressured to do anything I'm not completely comfortable with. He really understands and respects anxiety and phobias as the serious conditions that they are, and has been willing to customize my treatment to accommodate my needs. He has remained patient, calm, and understanding through multiple severe panic attacks. His bedside manner is extremely warm and caring, and he's one of the nicest people I've ever met. I am extremely thankful that I started seeing him and would recommend him to anyone who has dental anxiety or who just wants a fantastic dentist.

My immediate and extended family have been treated by Dr. Derek Zimbardi for many years. He has always been extremely caring, kind and not only technically superb as a dentist but very gentle. I never have any anxiety when I am under his care. He ALWAYS has a big smile on his face and you know he cares about his patients. Recently I had an urgent dental problem and he helped me taking so much time to help make arrangements but also spoke with me during his evening and weekend to follow up with me. I continue to refer family and friends to Dr. Zimbardi. One of my close family members had been so fearful of seeing dentists that their dental care had been neglected for years. Once they started seeing him, they felt so comfortable with his gentle nature that they truly look forward to seeing him! If you need a great and caring dentist, Dr. Zimbardi is worth the travel from all points in Long Island and the city.

Great Dental services!! Been going there for the last 2 years. Each and every visit has been better and better. On the pricey side but well worth it. Dr. Zimbardi is very professional and has exceptional employees working with him. Highly recommended this dentist office.
