Dr. Derek Evans studied neuroscience at BYU and psychology at SUU before attending dental school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, graduating with his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2006. He has completed advanced training incosmetic dentistryandimplant dentistry. Dr. Evans loves to continue his education and is constantly searching for and learning new ways to serve his patients. Dr. Evans is a member of theAmerican Dental Association, theAcademy of General Dentistry,and theAcademy of LDS Dentists. He has practiced in the St. George area for over 14 years. He believes in providing the highest quality of care while creating a positive experience for his patients. Dr. Evans loves helping and serving others through dentistry and achieves life-changing results through cosmetic dentistry each day. His focus is on the individual and on serving them in a calming and caring manner in order to meet their specific concerns. Dr. Evans and his wife, Lindsey, have four children. Outside of the office, he enjoys the many outdoor activities available in beautiful southern Utah.
Ahsha graduated a year early with a 4.0 GPA and began her dental training the following spring. She worked as a dental assistant for five years before joining our team in August 2020. She manages our office and team to keep us running smoothly and help us grow, using her dental assisting experience to help with providing treatment and training our team members. Ahsha loves being in a positive environment and seeing our patients leave our office happier than when they arrived.
Chealse grew up in Sandy, Utah, and moved down to St. George to enjoy the sun and palm trees. She is married and has two children, one boy, and one girl. In her free time, she enjoys photography, painting, and reading.
Amanda has been with our team since 2016. She loves being part of a team of friends that are like family and who always laugh at her corny jokes. She also appreciates that Gentle Dentistry has the kindest leadership and quality of team out of anywhere she has worked. Amandas detail-oriented approach helps keep our office running smoothly.
Stephanie graduated from Dixie State University in 2003 and joined our team in November 2019. She loves her coworkers and our patients and works to provide excellent care for and develop great relationships with our patients. We can always count on Stephanie to do her best. Stephanie has four children and enjoys reading, camping, traveling, cooking, and being outdoors.
Mandy graduated from the Dixie dental hygiene program in 2007 and joined our office in 2010. She is dedicated to providing excellent clinical care with a gentle touch and building relationships with our patients. Mandy enjoys the friendly, calm and comfortable environment of our practice.
Skye graduated from Dixie State University with a bachelors degree in dental hygiene, emphasizing public health. She joined our team in 2010 and is committed to providing her patients with the best possible care. She loves her patients and the friendships and connections she has made over the years.
Skye has been married for over 14 years and has four children, two boys and girls. She is her kids No. 1 fan, and when not in the office, she enjoys all things outdoors, including skiing, tennis, pickleball and hiking, as well as watching Netflix.
Jenny graduated from high school in Alaska before joining our dental family in May 2020, and she is currently attending Dixie State University with the goal of entering the dental hygiene program. Jenny works to assist the doctors with procedures and help our patients feel as comfortable as possible, and she enjoys the family-like environment and fun atmosphere of our office.
Tiffany joined us in April 2021 after having graduated from San Joaquin Valley College with her AS inDental Hygiene and the University of Utah with her BS in Sociology. She loves the friendly patients she has the pleasure to meet and get to know as she educates about Oral Health. Its the best that going to work will always be a great day with the wonderful coworkers I have. In her free time she enjoys the beauty of the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
A recent graduate from Dixie State University, Camri recieved her Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene and was excited to start her career with us. She says I love the compassion and patience of the doctors and staff. She recently got married in December, loves pickleball, spikeball, volleyball, and creating art.
