When our family opened its first dental practice in 2004, our vision was simple: to provide quality dental care and great service so that patients would want to come back time and again. Soon our small neighborhood dental office with its 3 employees had over 1,000 patients, just in its first year. Patients would constantly thank us for a great experience, comment on the convenient hours and tell us how much they appreciated having a neighborhood dentist they could trust.
At our first Christmas gathering, we laughed over turkey and wine about how great it would be to provide this quality care and great service to other families all over Massachusetts. With that simple idea in mind, we began opening trusted neighborhood family dental offices throughout Massachusetts. Each office location was carefully chosen to provide the most convenience for our customers. It was important to our family, and our mission, to make it as easy as possible for any patient to get the care that they needed in a comfortable and friendly environment.
Today, Dr. Dental has offices throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut as well as in New Hampshire, and New Jersey. And our family continues to provide affordable, quality dental care with great service to all our patients.
Both of my daughters are patients in your office and we are all very pleased with our treatment. The staff are very kind and welcoming. We look forward to coming back. Thank you for accepting us as patients of Dr. Dental.

Worst place to go for dental work! I had an upcoming appointment and they didn't even reach out to tell me that they were moving locations. I went out of my work schedule to see these ppl and they lie saying how they've been trying to contact me, about re-scheduling. Do NOT go here!

The doctor and her assistance are very nice they never make me wait long and she's especially careful with my teeth and mouth have a great deal of respect for all of them that work at Dr. dental on Dixwell Avenue in Hamden great office!!!

The appointment was on a Saturday at noon and my son was called into the room at 12 noon. On time, thorough and I love the Saturday option. He received toothpaste and a new toothbrush when he left. Highly recommend. (We went to the one in Hamden,CT.)

My boyfriend and I came to his first visit today (02/09/22) at 8:00AM as a new patient. The receptionist was extremely rude and talk down on us like we were children just because we were confused as to what she was saying in regards to our insurance. Needless to say, we ended up walking out and will never be back again. Poor customer service and friendliness. UPDATE: The manager, Jason, never called me (as stated below by the "owner"). My opinions and the facts still remain. Never visit this company ever again !

Dr. Bawa and her team are honestly a 5 star dental practice. Dr. Bawa is probably the most empathetic, kind and professional dentist I have ever met. She made sure I was comfortable and that there were no concerns with my dental work. Her follow ups are thorough but not rushed. It was honestly a great experience for a dental visit. If you are looking for a truly great dentist, you'll find one with her.

First appointment they cancelled the day of and rescheduled. Second appointment the took me in for x-rays, left me alone in the room for 30 minutes. The dentist came in and checked for cavities. Then they sent me to the front desk to make another appointment for the hygienist because they weren't there that day...even though thar was what the appointment was for. Third appointment was at 11. They made me wait in the waiting room for 45 minutes and I walked out. Wasted 3 lunch breaks trying to get my teeth cleaned to have my time wasted. Don't waste your time on this place.

it was my first time back at the dentist in 4 years- the last time was at the same location and saw a different dentist who said I had two cavities- they were never filled. I was just in for a cleaning and check up. Receptionist even had me come in an hour early. The girl who took my x rays was very kind and eased my anxiety. However My "cleaning" with the doctor was only 2 minutes long- they didn't even have a hygienist to scrape and actually clean my teeth. They just brushed them for a minute or two, had me rinse, and gave me a 1400.00 quote for a "deep clean." Which was what I was there for. No cavities though. Even though last time their dentist said I had a four and only filled two. Something is very wrong here. I feel like I was swindled and screwed out of my time. Even worse, I feel they are gambling with peoples health. Stay away. I was told by the receptionist that my insurance won't cover the 1400.00 deep clean despite them having not even checked with my insurance. She said it's because insurance assumes I'm a responsible adult who takes care of his teeth which felt like a slight personal jab. I'm very disappointed in the service I received.
