When our family opened its first dental practice in 2004, our vision was simple: to provide quality dental care and great service so that patients would want to come back time and again. Soon our small neighborhood dental office with its 3 employees had over 1,000 patients, just in its first year. Patients would constantly thank us for a great experience, comment on the convenient hours and tell us how much they appreciated having a neighborhood dentist they could trust.
At our first Christmas gathering, we laughed over turkey and wine about how great it would be to provide this quality care and great service to other families all over Massachusetts. With that simple idea in mind, we began opening trusted neighborhood family dental offices throughout Massachusetts. Each office location was carefully chosen to provide the most convenience for our customers. It was important to our family, and our mission, to make it as easy as possible for any patient to get the care that they needed in a comfortable and friendly environment.
Today, Dr. Dental has offices throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut as well as in New Hampshire, and New Jersey. And our family continues to provide affordable, quality dental care with great service to all our patients.
Both of my daughters are patients in your office and we are all very pleased with our treatment. The staff are very kind and welcoming. We look forward to coming back. Thank you for accepting us as patients of Dr. Dental.

My wife had an appointment with this place. They refused to do a cleaning and now my wife has an infection. This office is horrible. They try and force a credit card on you and also refuse to give referrals. Anyone who reads this please do not come to this dentist. They are very unprofessional and need staff that actually care about your teeth and oral health. Everyone who comes to doctor dental should leave a review about how their appointment truly went. Please help shut these doors!

If I could give them less than I star, It took 13 visits to get a new set of dentures that don't fit & cause major pain. DO NOT GO HERE !

I had an appointment in place last week, confirmed with text message a few times. I came in and they were closed no apology or reschedule call made. I'm furious.

Worst experience ever. Worst experience ever. Horrible follow up. The physician is fine but the staff are horrible. I was supposed to have implant in March but the machine broke so they canceled my appointment and told me that they will call me to schedule one with other affiliated office in west Hartford. THEY NEVER DID. So I called them and they say they will contact them and call me back. THEY NEVER DID. Then I left an angry message to them then on the next day they called me and gave me appointment with the other office which got cancelled again. I kept calling them and every time they promise to call me back within a day or two but THEY NEVER DID. I switched with another office and I can feel the difference now. They have a horrible horrible follow up. So if you have something that need more than a visit DONT GO THERE. OR DONT GO THERE AT ALL.

Would give zero stars if that were an option. Got scheduled for one time and they went around and changed it without my consent to make it look like I missed my appointment. Have texts to prove it! Don't go here!

I started this review a month ago or more but seriously debated just how much I wanted to share..after thinking about this for a while I decided to share various details because I believe there are alot of people out there like me who may have experienced some early trauma and thus an increased amount of fear when it comes to seeing a dentist. I want to stress that you are not alone and maybe you may need the dentist that I believe with my whole heart Jesus led me to. After breaking a tooth I woke up one day to find the entire right side of my face swollen so badly that I could barely open my mouth. I was in a lot of pain and knew that this was serious enough that I was going to have to face my fears and see a dentist. I called a unique Urgent Care service that offered "at home" visits (and in my case..completely covered by my insurance company). They put me on powerful antibiotics and set up an appointment with another well known dental provider. This provider gave me a bill for the procedures I would need and it totaled over $7,000 and this was OVER the $2,000 that my insurance would cover. This was way too much money for someone living on disability. I remembered this dentist that I went to see when another tooth became infected, believing that my prior insurance would cover an extraction..I was misled..it didn't. Doctor Dental's receptionist advised me to change to United Healthcare which I did the following January. I grudgingly..filled with fear and anxiety..made an appointment at Dr. Dental, on Farmington Ave in Bristol. I thank God every day that I did. While sitting in the chair, shaking and trying to remember to breathe, Dr Kumar asked me why I was so scared. HE ACTUALLY TOOK THE TIME TO ASK ME WHY I WAS SO TERRIFIED! He listened to my story! For the year leading up to my 12th birthday I was frequently slapped in the face by my mother for having the audacity to have severally buck teeth and according to her "being ugly" on purpose, and causing HER embarrassment and shame by having to be seen with me. After a year of this my grandparents stepped in and offered to pay for my braces. In order to have enough room in my mouth for the braces I had to have four teeth pulled. This would be my first visit to a dentist. I was told by my mother that he would put me to sleep and I wouldn't feel a thing. She lied! I can still feel the needle going into the cleft of my mouth and heard the bones cracking as he jabbed the needle even further. As an abused child I already knew that screaming would only cause more pain, so only tears streamed down my checks. When the dentist saw this he sternly told me to stop being such a baby. When it was over I told my mother that he didn't put me to sleep and the ordeal was extremely painful..she laughed. This whole incident caused me to have an intense fear of dentists that lasted for the next 53 years. I couldn't believe that Dr Kumar wanted to hear my reasons for this fear. I asked him not to be mad at me if I cried..he said absolutely not, explained everything that was going to happen and told me to feel free to cry if I needed to. He told me we could take as long as I needed and that I could stop the whole procedure if I needed to.. It's a remarkable thing to finally have your fear validated!!! It's comforting to know that you are finally in control. The first visit went by with a lot less pain that I had worried over. The second visit was a little bit more painful but the amazing thing was that I felt secure, there was no rapid breathing, no trembling heart and hands and incredibly I knew that I could get through this just fine..losing that fear had decreased the pain 100 fold! I found a doctor that I could finally trust and it made all the difference in the world. This dentist was also much more affordable! Thank you Dr Kumar..from the bottom of my heart..thank you!!!

The Dentist and assistant were very helpful the X Ray technician who also took in our paperwork was very very I can't stress it enough very helpful and patient when doing my Girlfriend's I don't think any other place would have been as patient and the Dentist was very knowledgeable and friendly from the minute he came into the room he taught me more about my teeth than I've learned in all my dental visits anywhere throughout the years I've been a patient here for 5 years and they are doing a very good job getting the best staff I've ever had take care of me, I hope reviews help the staff here really deserve a pat on the back

The absolute worst dentist in the world. Dr. Dental cost me $3,000 and 10 more dental visits to fix what this butcher did to my mouth. Avoid this place at all cost.

They were running a little late, but nothing to bad. Once we were in a room they addressed our needs, and got right to work. My husband is getting new dentures. We used them before and got great service, so we have come back for a new set.

Very very friendly staff, I have agoraphobia so I don't ever leave my house, they made me feel like a normal human instead of just a dental patient, I felt very comfortable and very a home, the dental assistants, the receptionist and the dentist were all perfectly professional and pleasant, I will be coming back here for the rest of my dental visits.
