When our family opened its first dental practice in 2004, our vision was simple: to provide quality dental care and great service so that patients would want to come back time and again. Soon our small neighborhood dental office with its 3 employees had over 1,000 patients, just in its first year. Patients would constantly thank us for a great experience, comment on the convenient hours and tell us how much they appreciated having a neighborhood dentist they could trust.
At our first Christmas gathering, we laughed over turkey and wine about how great it would be to provide this quality care and great service to other families all over Massachusetts. With that simple idea in mind, we began opening trusted neighborhood family dental offices throughout Massachusetts. Each office location was carefully chosen to provide the most convenience for our customers. It was important to our family, and our mission, to make it as easy as possible for any patient to get the care that they needed in a comfortable and friendly environment.
Today, Dr. Dental has offices throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut as well as in New Hampshire, and New Jersey. And our family continues to provide affordable, quality dental care with great service to all our patients.
Both of my daughters are patients in your office and we are all very pleased with our treatment. The staff are very kind and welcoming. We look forward to coming back. Thank you for accepting us as patients of Dr. Dental.

I have never had a worse dentist appointment. It was my first time here, and i will never go back. The hygienist was nice, but the machine they were using to polish my teeth got extremely hot and burned my mouth. They did not move my lip out of the way to polish my teeth and it kept tugging on my lips. They hardly polished my teeth and were just holding the machine on my gums half the time, leaving me bleeding in about 3-4 spots. Lastly, when it was time to floss they flossed about 2/3 of my teeth, and got the floss stuck between 2 teeth and left it there. The machines were rusted and the room didn't look clean or sanitary. I tried to get my x-rays to go somewhere else and they would not answer the phone, i called on multiple days and they did not answer, i left messages and they never called back. Eventually i went in to physically request the x-rays and filled out the form, which said it would take a max of 10 days, but after 10 they had not sent them. i called twice with no answer and no call back in response to the message. Eventually i went to go ask what was going on, on a Wednesday at 12pm, and they were closed. A few days later i was finally able to get the x-rays and they claimed that they typed in my email address wrong. I would never go back to this place. Do not recommend.

Pro: Dr. Patel is amazing (and so are his dental assistants). He's very professional, very thorough, and extremely informative. I really liked them as a dentist, and have had a good experience with him. Dr. Dental is also very affordable, and far cheaper compared to nearby dental offices. Cons: Horrible front-office staff. Two of the female staff members are not rude....but they are very flippant and dismissive. I was promised that they would call back for an appointment, but they never did. In addition, when I ask them information they get impatient. For example, I asked to double check their email address to get x-rays emailed over, and the lady over the phone literally sighed and said, "ya that sounds about right." About right??? I hope too that it is right! They are wonderful people, I just think they need to have feedback that their customer service skills are severely lacking.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They are out to get your money! For starters, I waited 45 minutes before I was seen. I was in there because a tooth was bothering me, I suspected a cavity. They took x-rays and the dentist came in. He tells me that the tooth that's bothering me was completely fine, but I had "many" other cavities that would need fillings. Mind you, I have never had a cavity in my life. He didn't even show me the teeth that had cavities on my x-rays, or tell me which ones they were. He also says that my gums were heavily receded and inflamed, and I would need a full deep clean and need to see a gum specialist. Then he says that I need a nightguard because I grind my teeth. Then he says that if I come back and my tooth is still bothering me, I will have to see a root canal specialist and potentially get a root canal--on a tooth that he just said appeared completely fine! Finally they did the "cleaning". By cleaning, I mean they sprayed some water in my mouth and poked around. No fluoride, no toothpaste, not even any flossing! The dentist himself did my cleaning, which was a first for me, and the entire thing took MAYBE 10 minutes. And then he reiterates that I need three fillings (still have no idea which teeth I supposedly have cavities in), and repeats the other bogus things that I will need. I go to check out, and I had to wait 15 more minutes for the receptionist to draft up my quote/treatment plan. In the end, they were going to charge me THOUSANDS of dollars for this treatment plan that would span over four more appointments (not even including the two specialists). I told her no thanks, and walked out. In total, I did not get any treatment or advice on the tooth that was actually causing me problems (aka the only reason I was there), I was diagnosed with numerous oral issues that have never once been brought up by prior dentists, and I was set up with a treatment plan that would've bankrupt me. And I waited over an hour for this "service"...for a cleaning that took less than 10 minutes. If you value your time, money, and oral health, stay a loooong ways away from this office.

I would call it insurance fraud. They took X-rays of the poorest quality, did a poor quality filling, leaving part of the dental defect exposed. I asked for copies of my records and the manager (shady as can be) never provided copies).

I came in for a normal cleaning, but accidentally gave the wrong insurance information. When I tried to call them several times afterwards for a few months to change my insurance information, they kept sending me the same bill over and over again. Despite their promises to change the information, my request was ignored or neglected repeatedly. So to get over this issue, I sent a check for the bill. After a few weeks, they sent a debt collector letter and somehow never received the check. If you don't want to waste your energy and money, don't go to this place.

Accepted my dental health savings plan with a co pay of $ 140 for an x- ray, exam and cleaning. i only had to wait 5 minutes to get seen. the dental hygienist was super nice and helpful, debbie, convenient location near the t, I'm looking forward to my next appointment. dr ravi patel is polite and helpful as is omar the front desk reception worker. go dr. dental !!!

Everyone who I interacted with at Dr. Dental in Allston was incredibly nice and erased any anxiety I had about going to the dentist. Dr. Patel filled a few cavities for me today and the experience was pain-free. Also shout out to the front desk staff and hygienists for also being wonderful and nice!

I came in for a procedure. Went fine, was happy, paid for it all at once. They asked about another, I agreed to it. Couldn't make it, cancelled a week in advance, well within their policies. They decided to send a debt collection out on me for something I didn't get or do. Great place if you want service followed by a scam.

Always nice to see Dr Patel . I enjoy going to this dentist and they take my insurance , which is nice . They are very nice and courteous . They do have a lot of Covid-19 precautions in place still which is great considering what they do, but I am glad they are open taking care of us patient. I really want to say a special thanks to all the employees who work at Dr Dental . They work so hard. I feel they are so quick I'm always in and out.( I'm very lucky though I don't have many problems. ) They really make a difference in my teeth feel clean. Thank you so much. K.

I've scheduled a appointment at 9am I got the confirmation email and texts to my number even o get remainders for the appointment and just before 15 mins before I got the text you're appointment is canceled, when I allready reached there I came from Middleton ma it's 2 hours drive in morning due to traffic is it joke to guys .
