Dr. Emma completed a prestigious accelerated combined degree program earning her BS in Biology and DDS in six years rather than eight. Dr Emma received her DDS with honors from the State University of New York Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 1993 graduating in the top of her class. Dr Emma was awarded her orthodontic certificate for specialty training in orthodontics from New York Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 1995.
Dr. Emma is a sought-after speaker on orthodontics and has hosted continuing education courses at Nassau County Dental Society, the Greater Long Island Dental Meeting and Farmingdale School of Dental Hygiene. In addition, she was named as a Doctor of Distinction by Long Island Pulse magazine and featured in The Knot Bridal Magazine for an Invisalign Bridal Makeover.
Orthodontists specialize in the artistry of orthodontics and attend years of focused training to achieve this distinction. After receiving a doctorate in general dentistry, an orthodontist must also complete 2-3 years of post-graduate training in the field of orthodontics at an ADA approved university. Orthodontists and dentists are very different as general dentists fix cavities, clean teeth, and assess oral health and orthodontists straighten teeth.

I love it here. I've been getting my teeth done here since middle school. Every time that I come it's simple and fast. I appreciate how kind and gentle the staff are. I wouldn't want to be at any other place.

I had a great experience with Dr Denise Emma and her team. Dr Emma is amazing. She is dedicated to making it a great experience for all her patients. She is a truly gifted person. My smile looks great, despite of my fears that not much could have been done with it (I had braces and Invisalign in the past). Her Staff are always professional, polite and helpful. I never had to wait more than a few minutes after checking in. The office is clean and modern. They also offer a very affordable payment plan if your insurance doesn't cover your braces. Overall a wonderful experience.

Have to say that I have had an amazing experience doing Invisalign with Dr Emma. So easy to get an appointment and the billing felt transparent and reasonable. One payment and I've never been asked for money again after almost 6 months of check ups. She is great and her staff is great. Cannot reccommend enough

My whole family loves Dr. Emma and her wonderful staff! My three children all had braces with Dr. Emma when they were young and when I needed help after a year of staring at my crooked lower teeth on Zoom, of course I went to her to talk about Invisalign. I didn't know that if I wanted to fix the bottom I would have to have aligners on the top too. I have had my Invisalign for a year and my top and bottom teeth look amazing. Now I just wear my retainers at night. The way your teeth are measured and fitted for the retainers is all computerized- very different from those mail order companies. Her office is state-of-the-art and her staff is highly trained. Dr.Emma keeps up with all the latest developments in orthodontia. Plus, they are all really kind. My family have been her patients for 15 years and I highly recommend her.

I just finished Invisalign treatment with Dr. Emma and I'm very happy with the results. Dr. Emma and her team are efficient, kind and very caring of their patients. The office is extremely clean. I'd definitely recommend.

Treated both my children; one child had everything from expander to graduation. Other child they monitored, and turned out that braces weren't necessary, just cosmetic. I never thought I would have been told that by an orthodontist.
