At our practice our oral health team strives to provide optimal dental care while helping our patients feel comfort and satisfaction. As a dentist my goal is to catch things early. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure is the motto that I follow to provide the best quality care possible.
I was born is Salt Lake City. I am the oldest of 10 children. I attended the University of Utah and received a Bachelor of Science in Medical Biology. I continued my education at the Virginia Commonwealth School of Dentistry and graduated with a Dental Degree in 1990.
I am an active member of the American Dental Association The Utah Dental Association and the Wasatch Study Group keeping current on the latest trends in dentistry and maintaining my continuing dental education.
I work one day a week and consider that day at work my day off. It is my time for adult conversation and to refuel my tank as I go back to playing the role of wife and mother. I decided I wanted to be a dental hygienist when I was about 10 years old and used to clean my younger siblings teeth with paper clips. When Im not at work I like to read go to movies plays and musicals with my husband, travel to the beach and exercise. I am an early riser and like to start my day at about 5:30 in the morning and that is why I find myself in bed right after my kids heads hit their pillows. I also find great joy in spending time with my family. My favorite quote is You dont have to floss all your teeth, just the ones you want to keep.
I graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1998 with a BS in Dental Hygiene. I have been working as a dental hygienist for Dr. Jarman for 12 years. I also attended BYU and WSU before I began my emphasis in dental hygiene. While in Missouri studying I met my husband Darin. We have 3 children and reside in Draper.
I am from West Jordan, Utah, I graduated from Herriman High School in 2018 and I am currently attending Salt Lake Community College to study dental hygiene. I enjoy snowboarding traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I also love dogs. I love working as a dental assistant for Dr. Jarman and all the amazing staff.
