Dr. Dayna Cassandra is a general dentist who has been servicing Bergen County for almost 17 years. She provides family and cosmetic dentistry to the community helping them achieve optimum oral health and gain confidence from a healthy, beautiful smile.
Dr. Cassandra knows how important it is to have a healthy mouth, and how it affects overall health and wellness. The freedom and confidence that comes with healthy, well-functioning teeth, allows people to have a better quality of life. Dr. Cassandra has a passion for advanced restorative dentistry. I enjoy the process of uncovering the reasons why a smile is changing, and how I can restore or rejuvenate it with proper function leading to beautiful aesthetics, she says.
Dr. Cassandra established her private practice in Paramus, New Jersey in 2006. She graduated with honors from the University of Maryland Dental School and went on to complete a General Practice Residency Program at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
Dr. Cassandra is an advocate of and active participant in continuing education. To further her vast dental expertise, she has also trained at the Pankey Institute, the worlds oldest and most prestigious learning center providing dentists with the highest quality post-graduate training available. She is a Faculty Club member of Spear Education and an assistant clinical professor at NYUs Rosenthal Institute, Center for Advanced Aesthetics.
Dr. Cassandra is competitive in her field and continues to enjoy the growth and development of her general practice. She has added other doctors to the practice offering a wide range of services. She is an active member of many service organizations in the community and the proud recipient of the Paramus Rotary Clubs Humanitarian of the Year award in honor of her work with the Gift of Life program.
Even though she runs a busy dental practice, Dr. Cassandra continues to give back to her community by helping with the Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative. She is also an active member of Dental Lifeline.

I work as an advocate on behalf of my patients with the challenges that are presented by their insurance carriers. I also discuss with patients financial options available to help them with treatment cost to make dentistry more affordable for them. I enjoy talking with my patients and getting to know them on an individual level in order to provide personalized service.

I am an avid distance runner and have completed six marathons and more than 30 half marathons. I will be running my sixth NYC Marathon this fall! When I am not running or working, you can find me volunteering at the Wayne Animal Shelter. It is there that I walk (or run) the dogs, and play and socialize the cats. My family consists of two rescue dogs, Trevor and Nestley, and cats Penelope, Mia, and Miles. I also have a foster cat, Cindy, who is 15 years old.
I have worked in all aspects of the dental office since joining the field in 1985, from assisting to the front desk and finally hygiene. My focus is on assessing every patients gingival health and rendering the correct treatment, and educating patients about their oral health and how it is linked to their systemic health. I enjoy working with each individual patient to achieve a healthy smile, always providing their hygiene treatment with their comfort in mind.
I have been married for 35 years and am a mother of three grown daughters. We have three pets: a cat and two dogs. I love to travel and craft in my spare time. Taking care of my family and always having a full house is the best!
I joined the dental field about six years ago and it has been my passion ever since! I am an expanded functions dental assistant, which means that I assist the doctor in all procedures. Having worked here for so many years, I have built such great relationships and bonds with so many of my patients. I get excited to provide the best care I can and make everyone feel comfortable. I also love achieving new goals and furthering my education, which then allows me to create a better experience for my patients.
All of the doctors in our practice have taught me so much along the years and for that, I am so grateful. Our team feels like family and each of us brings something great to the practice. Work doesn't feel like work; it feels like home!
My journey to becoming a dental assistant began as a little girl; I loved going to the dentist. In 2004, I completed my degree at Berdan Institute and have worked as a registered dental asistant since.
It brings me immense joy to work alongside Dr. Cassandra, Dr. Donovan, and Dr. Klein. All three doctors are incredibly meticulous and never compromise or cut any corners with their dental care. I feel proud to work with them and the rest of the team as I know that we are always doing what is best for our patients. It is an honor to work with such a great group of women who are motivated to provide the best dental experience, while also taking personal interest in the patients and each other.
In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors with my husband Noel, son Jose, and daugther Sophia. I believe that your relationship with your family and friends is of utmost importance. My relationship with God is also a top priority and I volunteer my time trough my religious organization, serving the community with thoughts of hope and encouragement.
I graduated from New York University Dental School in 1993 with my CDA and RDA license. After working in the healthcare field and at St. Lukes Hospital as the lead dental assistant for many years, I joined Dr. Cassandras team. As one of the first people our patients meet, I always make sure to greet everyone with a smile, check patients in and out with efficiency, and verify dental benefits with accuracy.
I was born and raised in NYC, the oldest daughter of five siblings. I have been married for 25 years to Dennis Jenkins. In my leisure time, I enjoy reading, listening to good gospel music, dancing to R&B music tunes, shopping, traveling, playing miniature golf, and most of all attending church on Sundays.
I graduated with an Associates degree in Psychology and have worked in customer service for the last 15 years, specifically in the dental field for 6 years. My extreme attention to detail and organizational skills allow me to provide our patients with a seamless experience.
Dr Cassandra has cultivated a team who prioritizes their patient's needs, delivers exceptional customer service, and prides themselves in continuing their education to better service our patients. I am so blessed to have joined a team of women who are not afraid to motivate and challenge each other to grow.
I am the eldest of three siblings and a proud mother to a loving son. I am newly engaged and looking forward to planning my wedding. I love to travel, read,and cook, but most of all I love creating memories and traditions with my family.

While the quality of care I received at this practice was excellent, it is not excellent to only except one insurance. And instead of writing prescriptions for the toothpaste I was told I needed, they wanted me to come in and buy it from them. I was forced to find another dentist.

Absolutely LOVE this dentist office - so much so, I still come here for my routine cleanings all the way from North Carolina! All the staff are amazing and continuously show they truly care for their patients.

I have no words! Dr. Klein is an outstanding and exceptional periodontist. Both her bedside manner and medical expertise are hard to come by in 1 person....but in her case they did. I can tell you that of all the times I have had gum surgery, NONE ever turned out like this. She is humble. She is approachable. She is gifted. The cosmetic result along with the medical improvement still has me double checking the mirror to make sure its me I'm looking at. I know...vanity is not something to be proud of but hey... New York- New Jersey-Connecticut-Maryland-Pennsylvania..... run don't walk to this office for any and all of your dental work. It's one of the best investments you will ever make.

I used to be afraid of the dentist before I switched to this practice. I avoided going much longer than I should have, and the more time that passed the more worried I was of being judged when I finally made that first appointment. But I was met with total respect from day one. I have absolutely no fear when I go to the dentist. Every single person here goes above and beyond to make sure all their patients are comfortable. I can't recommend them enough.

New patient has entered the chat. I am usually not a review leaver and have had unpleasant visits in the past with other dental offices. The superb care and services offered here has to be shared. The series of events from pre-visit communication thru the office visits greatly exceeded my expectations. After explaining my background, I had a first visit to get familiar with the office and staff, along with an exam of the concern. The thoughts of whatever began to diminish upon entering the office. Dr. Cassandra was very kind, understanding and reassuring of a smooth procedure to follow on my next visit. I returned for the next visit feeling much more comfortable. The work was excellent, all went at a pace I was comfortable with and it was a great experience. I can't see or feel the filling, looks like it did before, most impressive ! Dr. Cassandra and the entire staff are wonderful, they go the extra mile to ensure the patients are at ease and explain everything before and during the visit. Great communication, office very tidy and professional and at the same time a caring vibe is very evident, any questions are answered, there was quickly a feeling of trust and lessening of concerns. From someone that was not looking forward to just making an appointment , a new fan walked out of there, no trepidation about returning the next time. I was referred to Dr. Cassandra by another dental office and I see why. It's always the little things that tell you what kind of treat you're in for. They really take pride in their work and it shows even with how they interact with you. I never had a home (primary dentist) but I certainly found one today. I'm not the easiest person to please because I'm a perfectionist. However, I felt so much better leaving Dr. Cassandra's office today and knowing whatever work needed in the future I'm in good hands.

No words can describe how truly grateful I am to Dr. Cassandra and her assistant Melissa. They are the dynamic duo! Dr. Cassandra changed my life by changing my smile! I can't thank Dr. Cassandra and her staff enough, they were fantastic with my mom who is 89 years old with Dementia/ Alzheimer's . They took great care of her in fixing her two cracked teeth in the front of her mouth. This was due to grinding of her teeth. I was so nervous that day that she wouldn't be able to fix them cause dealing with this disease I never know how my mom will react especially that she can't communicate. They were so patient and attentive with her that she was calm and in no time the procedure was done. Thank you again

I got a wonderful cleaning today with Christina! It's been a little while since I got a cleaning and Christina was very thorough, talked me through what she was doing, and made me feel comfortable since I was a little nervous. It was easily the best cleaning I have ever had!!! Dr. Cassandra's office is the BEST of the best!

I have been a patient of Dr. Cassandra & Dr. Donovan for 10+ years. The entire staff goes beyond what would normally be expected to make you feel welcomed & comfortable every visit. Not once have I left the office frustrated or unhappy. I actually look forward to my visits! This dentist practice is like finding a needle in a haystack- trust me! Don't think twice- this is the dentist practice you should go to.

Every time I visit, it is always a pleasant experience. They are very accommodating and are also very gentle but thorough with the cleanings and check-up's. I found out I had a cavity the day of and they were able to set me up for a filling right after my cleaning was done so I didn't have to make a return trip. Office is also very clean and they take every step to ensure they are following safe COVID-19 protocols. Highly recommend!
