David R. Brinkley, DDS, MS received a Bachelor's degree in Biology and then graduated with a Master's degree in Neurophysiology. He was also a Microbiology instructor before receiving a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, the top-ranked dental school in the United States when he attended. Dr. Brinkley then completed a general dentistry residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center at New Orleans where he received advanced training in comprehensive dentistry including: Prosthodontics, Implant Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Periodontics, and Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Brinkley has taught numerous dentists and dental students the latest techniques and procedures while at L.S.U. school of dentistry. He also attends many postgraduate courses nationally including the Kois Center in Seatlle, WA.
Dr. Brinkley is a member of the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association. St. David's Foundation awarded Dr. Brinkley the Theo's Hero award for his charitable work on improving dental health for underprivileged children. He is the consulting dentist for the University of Texas Athletic Department and was a staff dentist with St. David's Medical Center.
