Patients in the Maiden and Denver area have been receiving exceptional dental care at our Denver dental office for 15 years. We all work hard to create a state-of-the-art practice that has kept pace with advances in technology and procedures to bring you the best that dentistry has to offer. Our basic mission, however, remains the same to provide you and your family with a dental home where you can receive reasonably priced, quality services in a warm and welcoming environment.
Dr. Darryl Hatchett grew up locally and attended Maiden High School. He received bachelor's degrees in both chemistry and biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UNC School of Dentistry in 1998. Dr. Hatchett is a member of the North Carolina Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Hatchetts life is strongly rooted in his Christian faith, and he is a member of Denver Baptist Church. He believes in giving back to his community and regularly volunteers his time to participate in Love Denver, a local community outreach event.Dr. Hatchett also volunteers in various locations on mobile dental buses.
Dr. Hatchett is married to Lorie, and they have a son and daughter, Zack and Zoey. They love finding time to spend together, whether its on the lake or making trips to the beach or the mountains. Dr. Hatchett also enjoys golf, fishing, boating, and billiards.
Mary Ellen grew up in Mt. Airy and attended Western Piedmont Community College dental assisting program. She then went on to receive her dental hygiene degree (RDH) from Catawba Valley Community College. Mary Ellen has been with us for nearly 15 years and loves being able to educate her patients about proper dental hygiene and helping them achieve a happy, healthy smile.
In her free time, Mary Ellen spends time hiking, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking with her husband, Ronald, and their two sons, Caleb and Tom. Mary Ellen enjoys creating jewelry and mining for jewels such as emeralds and rubies. She also loves gardening and growing various types of plants in her greenhouse. Mary Ellen is also very involved with her church, Concord United Methodist Church.
Tabitha received her dental hygienist training through Catawba Valley Community College and four years of on-the-job experience as a dental assistant. She's a native of Newton and has been an important part of our team for 15 years. Tabitha really likes getting to know our patients and making a difference in their oral health and appearance when they smile.
Tabitha loves being the mom of three wonderful children and the wife of a great husband. Tabitha has been a foster mom for three years, and in that time has taken care of seven different children. She enjoys being active in her local church where she teaches Girls in Action, and she also volunteers her time at local shelters.
Kyley is a native of Maiden and completed the dental assisting program at Western Piedmont Community College. She has been with our practice for 10 years. Kyley loves interacting with her patients, making them feel better about their smiles, and helping them feel comfortable in the dental chair. She also enjoys working with a group of people who are truly like family.
Kyley is passionate about camping, and her retirement plan is simple go RVing! She also loves spending time with her church family at Lawings Chapel Baptist Church, where theres always something to be involved in. She has a wonderful husband, two little girls, and a third on the way. Her family takes up a lot of her time, but Kyley wouldnt have it any other way.
Stephanie attended Rowan-Cabarrus Community College dental assisting program and has been with our practice for 15 years. She grew up in Mooresville and is happy to be part of a professional team that feels more like family.
Stephanie is married and has three sons who are very involved in sports, which keeps her pretty busy in her free time. Her husband is an educator in Mooresville, and they are members of Bethel Presbyterian Church. Stephanie especially enjoys and cherishes the time that she spends with her family. Her mother, sister, and brother are all very close, and she loves the time she gets to spend with them as well.

Dr. Hatchett not only seems to be a great and caring dentist, but also is a genuinely nice human being with great energy that put me at ease. He's one of the most warm people that I've met for the first time. Nothing fake, no pretense, just genuinely nice yet professional. This is the best dental experience I have ever had. His staff was also wonderful and caring. I am so thankful that I decided to go to this office.

Over all my years I have been to several Dentist. Sadly no one really likes going to the dentist, its a draw back to his profession, I guess. If you have a dentist or needing one I urge you to do yourself a favor ( SWITCH ) Like myself you will be amazed at how well they treat and make you feel. Great Ole school values and quality of service are alive and well at Dr. Hatchetts office.

Have been going to Dr Hatchett for a few years.Always feel comfortable and relaxed.Called me once personally to tell me my appointment was canceled due to increment weather.That was enough for me to know I will always be a patient of his.Staff is very friendly and professional.Would highly recommend to anyone.
