Dr. Daniel Hughes, a native of the Hoosier state of Indiana, earned his dental degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Hughes began his dental career in Leo, IN where he and his wife, Debbie, raised two children and together built his family dental practice. His son, Brad, has taken over the Leo office. Board certified in both Indiana and South Carolina and a member of the ADA and SCDA, Dr. Hughes has experience in all phases of dentistry and welcomes the opportunity to care for residents of the greater Okatie community. Dr. Hughes is proud to practice dentistry in Okatie. He and his staff welcome you to the Hughes Dental Group.
Dr. Bradley Hughes is a third generation dentist, proudly following in his father and grandfathers footsteps and has been providing excellent dentistry for over 12 years. He is a graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry in Bloomington.
Dr. Hughes is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association and Isaac Knapp District Dental Association. He is also a member of the Doring Implant Study Club and stays on top of the latest technologies in dentistry. Dr. Hughes grew up in Leo and is proud to serve the residents of our community.

Went and had 5 temporary crowns prepped and ready for permanents (4 planned for a long time but kept putting off). Dr. Dan's son and business partner, Dr. Brad, took care of me. No pain - very professional. A special shout-out to all their staff that helped and cared - Sandy, Yazmine, Brooke, Lindsay, Diana, Lauren - really wanted to get my temporary looking good - my 4 front top teeth! I cried with happiness when I saw the results of their hard work! Highly recommend this practice. Have been going there for years and always feel respected and cared for.

Lauren is a great dental hygienist and I really like the way she cleans my teeth. Everyone at the practice is really nice. Dr. Brad Hughes fixed my TMJ. He's done my crowns. I really like him and all the office personnel. Lindsey has helped me with insurance questions. Sandy has helped me with the TMJ appliance and crowns.

Just had 2 crowns started.... and it was "easy prays" for me!!! As a child, I was strapped down ( wrists and ankles) and " sweet" Dr. Scott drilled away as smoke poured out of my mouth!!! It was many many years before I experienced a relatively painless dentist. Sandy is a top flight assistant to our gentle delightful "young " Dr. Hughes... The best practice in my 78 years!!

Technicians and dentist very friendly ... but counter staff gave me misleading information on my Medicare... After checking 4 times if the procedures were covered, they assured me no co-pay.... But wait !! Check now, and receive a $400 bill ..!! Not what I was told !! I mean once your mouth is open, you can't argue or dispute ... Buyer beware !!!

This was the first time going to the Dr. Hughes and I went on the recommendation of a good friend. I was very pleased with the dental work I had done. Everyone was very friendly and professional from my arrival to my departure. After calling my dentist from my home state, I found the recommendation for a new crown was 100% correct. I was extremely pleased with the outcome and will go back to the Hughes Dental Group . I strongly recommend this dental group if your a full time resident, a part time resident, or here on vacation.

I broke a tooth while flossing and received an immediate appointment. Jessica, the advanced technician who prepared my temporary crown and took impressions, was very professional and friendly. Highly recommend!

My first visit today with Dr. HUGHES and his staff. It was an awesome experience. I felt welcomed from the receptionist to Dr Hughes. The cleaning was totally different from past cleanings I have had in the past I was impressed. Met with Dr Hughes and we discussed my dental plan. I would highly recommend this dental office.

Dr. Hughes' practice has always been a very welcoming one for me and also previously to my husband who died in 2015. Dr.Hughes and his son are wonderful dentists and very friendly. The hygienists with whom I experience more contact are superior in every way.
