I appreciate the opportunity to get to know my patients as people, and helping them through a process that is not always easy but is always rewarding. Our conversations enrich my life, as I learn about their experiences and dreams; I hope, when treatment is finished, each person feels I have enriched their life, as well, by using my professional skills to make their world better, with a healthier, more confident smile leading the way.
My father, Dr. Dante DeAngelo, started this practice in 1964. I grew up seeing how he enjoyed what he did, and witnessing the positive changes in his patients lives. I was drawn to the profession as a way of serving our community and making peoples lives better.
I grew up in Canfield, went to school at St. Charles in Boardman, and graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in 1979. I went on to receive three degrees, plus my orthodontics training, at The Ohio State University:
After completing my three-year orthodontic residency and masters degree, I returned to this office. My father retired in 1999 and Dr. Centofante retired in 2001; now, I am proud to continue offering personalized, high-quality orthodontics to our community.
Through ongoing continuing education, completed locally, regionally, and nationally, I learn from researchers and practitioners in the specialty. This keeps me current with the latest treatments, philosophies, and technology, so Im able to provide state-of-the-art care.
I have been blessed with a wonderful wife, Jacque; three lovely daughters, Jessica, Danielle, and Jean; and three great sons-in-law, Stephen, Matthew, and James. Time with them, our wider family, and friends is a priority when Im not in the office.
I like being outdoors, especially golfing, boating, and hiking, and am a sports fan with a passion for Ohio State Buckeyes football. I also enjoy many activities with the local dental society, in the community, and with our church.

One of the true strengths of our office is the experience level of both our front office and clinical team members. The majority of the team has been with us for at least 7 years, and the one with the longest run is at over three decadesand counting.

I loved the site today was my first date from when you enter the secretaries are super nice and friendly to what happens to the doctor's office and the assistants are super and the doctor doesn't even say they make you feel confident and explains everything perfectly the appointments are super fast so I'll be back soon again.

Getting braces at any age is awkward. At 56 it is really awkward. Due to my jaw being out of line, I needed them. Doctor DeAngelo and his staff were so great. I would recommend this office for anyone who is in need of orthodontic care. The office is clean, efficient and friendly. You can feel confident they are knowledgeable in their profession. As a side note, the seasonal decorations are amazing.

I waited almost 20 years to re-straighten my teeth. I had braces for 6 years as a child and over the years my teeth completely shifted. I was so excited to get my Clear Correct invisible trays from Dr. DeAngelo. In just over three months I had a confident smile again. The doctor and staff were educated, kind and extremely helpful. I would recommend Dr. DeAngelo to anyone!

Receptionists are wonderful and extremely accommodating with appointments. Assistants are wonderful. The office is always clean and always well decorated for seasons and holidays by Dr Dan's wife. I highly recommend DeAngelo Orthodontics.
