About Us If you are looking for a highly trained and experienced dentist in Flatbush, you have come to the right place. At our practice, you will receive the highest quality dental treatment. Our dental office uses the latest state-of-the-art equipment and cutting edge technology. These include digital x-ray, the use of 4.5x magnification loupes, high intensity intraoral lights and intraoral photography to insure early diagnosis and conservative treatments of any oral pathology. We also uphold the strictest sterilization techniques. We know that many people may feel anxious about coming to the dentist, so it is our goal to make your visit with us as pain and anxiety free as possible. One way that we accomplish this is by offering video glasses to our patients. These glasses enable patients to watch relaxing and enjoyable videos, which distract them, during their treatment. From the moment you walk into our office, you will receive a warm and friendly greeting from our staff. We treat all of our patients as family. That is precisely why Dr. Steinberg gives his personal cellphone number to each of his patients. That way, they can be certain that they will receive the personal attention and care they deserve at all times.
Payment Options We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards as well as no-interest or low-interesting financing through Citi Health Card and CareCredit. Please speak to our Financial Coordinator for more details about the different financing options available. We also participate with many insurance plans. Below is a partial list of some of the plans we accept. If your insurance is not listed, please call our office to find out if we accept or can work with your plan as well.
Insurance and Billing We accept most traditional insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. Dr. Daniel Steinberg, D.M.D. does not participate in Health Management Organizations; however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.

Dr. Steinberg was extremely patient with my 9 year old son. He was also very thorough. His office runs on time and he doesn't rush his appointments. I will definitely be going back to him for my other children and myself!

A professional in every sense of the word. I had a situation where other (Manhattan) dentists were recommending "extraction" for a slightly broken off tooth. Dr. Steinberg found another solution. He preserved the tooth which has since lasted years. He saved the tooth! What else can I say? Great care for the whole family. No pressure office. I actually enjoy going there.

I started with Dr. Steinberg in 1999. He doesn't overbook so you are taken within 10 minutes of arrival (my experience). He fitted me for my second set of dentures with him. Both pairs I was and am able to eat everything comfortably from corn on the cob to ribs and steak without a problem. Nobody can even tell that I have dentures until I to them. Those that do have dentures can"t believe what I can eat with them. One set I can say it could have been luck, but twice and the second set is better than the first. Prior to Dr. Steinberg, it was misery. The best dentist that I have ever used.

For over 10 years I was too scared to go to a dentist. I am grateful that I was referred to Dr. Daniel Steinberg. I have been a loyal patient for 22 years. Dr. Steinberg saved my teeth from decay and as I enter into my mid 50s I have healthy oral care twice per year. His office is state of the art and provides special care for the anxious patient. Every detail is attended to including soothing music, colorful paint schemes on the walls, relaxing music and even a fish tank. I sincerely recommend his office to anyone in need of dental care
