She was also accepted into the American College of Dentists in 2001 and the International College of Dentists in 2006 after being nominated by her peers. Both organizations are dedicated to excellence, ethics, leadership, and professionalism.

Dr. Deb also serves as Moderator at her church and chairs the Church Council. In her spare time, Dr. Deb enjoys knitting, scrapbooking, running, and yoga.
Drs. Peters met and got married during dental school. They've been personal and professional partners ever since working together as a husband/wife team. They live right in the community they serve and are now empty nesters as their daughter Madison is off on her own working as a teacher and their son Kyle is away at college.
Enthusiasm and a strong work ethic during her residency enabled Dr. Liz to succeed and be a valuable asset to treating patients at the University of Nebraska Medical Center as well as at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Omaha. The residency program provided Dr. Liz with an invaluable education that has trained her to deliver comprehensive dental care with full consideration of the patient's dental and medical needs.
After finishing her residency program, Dr. Liz decided to move back home to Michigan and she chose to settle on the wonderful West side of our state. Says Dr. Liz: 'I could not be happier with my career choice thus far. Every day is different and challenging, which makes it fun for me to go to work and interact with patients.' Outside of dentistry, Dr. Liz enjoys spending time with family and friends, being by the Lake in the summer, and skiing in the winter. She is a big fan of all Detroit sports teams. Dr. Liz is also very athletic and was a state champion doubles tennis player while in high school. Peters Family Dentistry was thrilled to have Dr. Liz join the team in 2013.
Currently Dr. Dan serves as the Chair of Development of the Michigan Dental Association Foundation which is an organization dedicated to the betterment of the health of the residents of Michigan by increasing access to dental care in underserved populations.
Unfortunately, a severe wrist injury ended Dr. Dan 's clinical career in 2012. He remains involved in management decisions of the practice and serves as a 'Mr. Fixit' around the office. Dr. Dan is excited to be working as a Job Coach/Lifestyle Coach to Dentists. When asked what he does, Dr. Dan replies that he is a teacher, mentor, coach, friend, colleague, and accountability partner to his dentist colleagues. His position allows him to work on business and clinical principles with his clients while always keeping an eye on the importance of striking the proper balance between work and family. It also allows him to spend a lot of donated time with dental students which he particularly enjoys.Dr. Dan sincerely hopes that his involvement in this capacity allows him to leave a legacy of service in the dental profession that he loves so much.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband and son, we have a goal to see all 50 states before my son goes to college! I also serve on the organizational committee for Mission of Mercy, a weekend of free dentistry for the underserved.
